What I am saying is that there are stages and different levels of life which one must pass through as they journey through this thick field of uncertainty called life. The challenge we have as we take this journey is that we are left at the mercy of the one who created us. What and how He does it is completely determined by Him and Him alone.

Even though I am not here to talk about life stages but I will try to delve into it as a way of throwing more light to the main purpose of this article. No human fell from the sky. To even show how important it is that a human must be carried for nine months, the son of God had to pass through this same stage. When a child is born, nature begins to put in him the necessary ability to survive such as crying, whining, sucking etc if a child does not allow nature to teach him these things it will be very difficult for him to survive. Now, ask yourself; when did the newborn baby learn to suck on the mother's breast? Who taught him how to do that and the rest of the things he does as a baby?

These things are done by the way nature has programmed the stages of life in the mind of the baby and I have not seen a baby that started walking before crawling also I have not seen a baby that started running even before learning how to walk. This tells us that following the stages of life is as important as life itself. When we started learning arithmetic in school, the first thing we were taught was how to count the numbers starting from one. Just imagine someone who does not know the number count trying to solve a mathematical equation, you and I know that he will make a mess of himself tying to do so.   Just take a look around you right now, what do you see? I bet you are probably seeing a moving car, a man or woman walking down the road, your pet running around your house, your children or even nothing. You are either seeing something or nothing but the thing is if you are seeing a car driven across the streets, can you imagine the driver not knowing how to drive i.e. he did not go for a driving lesson before jumping into that car, what do you think will happen? Just look at that child running around the house, imagine that child becoming old suddenly as you are watching, what will be your reaction? What about as you are quietly seated in your house alone suddenly a baby falls through the roof into your room, what will you do? All these questions and many more confirms to you and me how important it is for one to follow the stages of life carefully.   have seen and heard of young men who decided to jump or make a certain stage of life to come faster. The aftereffect is that such young men end up dying before their time or even end up mad thereby losing everything they acquired because you can never cheat nature. Let us take a look at day and night. Even though we can take drugs just to keep ourselves awake at night that does not mean that night does not exist. Even if we sleep in the morning that does not mean that the night won’t come at its time. Even the Bible tells us that there are time and season for everything under the earth. If we understand that there are time and season for everything in life why then do we take shortcuts especially when it comes to achieving our goals in life?

The dangers of taking shortcuts are too numerous and it outweighs its benefits if there is any. When you take shortcuts, you may end up succeeding but one thing is sure you would have ended up not learning from every turn because life teaches you to learn from every turn you take so if you miss any because of taking a shortcut, you will end up missing what you should have learnt and once you have passed any stage in life it is always so hard to get back to it again.   Imagine asking a grown man to become a baby again. It will not be possible even though science can alter the mind of such a grown man to make him think and behave like a baby but any attempt to change his physical looks will surely lead to death. Remember that you cannot eat your cake and still have it so why not take things accordingly? Most times we end up putting ourselves into serious pressure because we want something to come to us even when it is not yet time. Imagine a building without foundation, we both know what the outcome will be even before it reaches completion. This tells us that we cannot and should not miss any stage of life all because we want to have it come to us sooner. Remember that nature has a role to play in our existence as humans which is why we have various seasons ranging from summer to winter and so on. If for any reason winter those not come, it will feel as though the world has come to an end so my dear friend, do not take shortcuts when it comes to passing through life stages because any stage missed will not be gotten back again, therefore, allow the child to be and act like a child when he is in that stage and be an adult when you have reached the stage too.
