Remember Me Oh Lord
Greetings guys. It's a Sunday and hence we should listen to God's word. Let's Go! Text: Psalm 9:18 'For the needy shall not always be forgotten, the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.' The Preacher, in Ecclesiastes chapter 9 verse 14-16, tells the story of a little city with few men in it. A great king came, besieged the city and built great snares around it. In this city was a poor wise man and through his wisdom, saved the city. However, no one remembered him to reward him for what he did or to help him out of his misery. This is because we are in a world where only physical, tangible material wealth is celebrated. The rich in the city with all their wealth could not save them but the man though poor physically, had something that money couldn't buy. We serve a God with whom there is no partiality. (Acts 10:34). This is evident in the remembrance of Cornelius. (Acts 10:31). Man may forget but God does not. He has your name engraved in His palm. Because He is the rewarder of those who are humble and seek Him diligently, be rest assured that God has not forgotten you and your expectations will not be lost forever. Don't give up yet. The good Lord is still with you. He will answer your prayers. You've not been forgotten. He has your name written boldly on his palms so get up & offer him his service. Amen & Amen!
