The Believer's Reward

Do you think there's a reward for service? For believers? Do not be deceived by anybody that there is no reward for you being a believer and worshipper of God Most High. Prayer Theme:Believers’ Reward Text:Mark 10:29,30 Some people believe that the Christian life is a boring life that strips one of all they have and for these reasons, they refuse to turn to God. Contrary to this, the text above shows that those have decided to give all of themselves to God will receive their rewards here on earth and in eternity. This shows that the reward of believers are not reserved only in eternity but in this life also. However, persecution is one of the things Jesus mentioned as part of the things a believer will get. The persecution here refers to great trouble. This, of course could make one discouraged. But Apostle Paul, having received his own share of troubles, asked in Romans 8:35, 'Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword? Perhaps, the troubles of life has made you to leave the narrow path that leads to eternal life. Thank God you are still alive! He wants you to come back to Him. Do so today as tomorrow may be late.
