I already told you that Tuscany is one of the most important wine-producing areas in Italy and is seriously a matter of passion. One symbol of the Tuscan landscape is the cypress tree. If you’re coming to Tuscany you'll notice scenic long driveways adorned with some of most iconic trees: mediterranean cypress trees. ~ There are many postcards with such views ~ one of the classic view is the road leading up to Pienza (where we saw the Christmas tree made of wine bottles) Two rows of thin, tall cypress trees leading up to a hilltop farm, definitely gives one the feeling of carried into these postcards.…

Driving around the countryside in a foggy morning. The fog has slowly tumbledown from nearby hills and stayed blanketing the road and the village through most of the morning.
