What's for lunch? We stopped on this pretty place called "Arrosticiamo" between Abruzzo & Marche (regions of Italy) for a feast of delicious arrosticini, the beloved lamb skewers barbecue made (a very well known dish in Abruzzo) They are simply tasty and you can eat dozens of them. Florence by night ✨ Uffa! I was tied up with so much else to do that I missed the sunset on the bridge (because this view could never be considered a "miss") But then I managed to capture the imposing Giotto's Bell Tower and the beautiful Palazzo Vecchio overlooking the Piazza della Signoria. The olive harvest time in Tuscany is now! and continues until mid-December. 🫒 This is a #ThrowbackThursday to our first harvest in 2010. I already posted these photos time ago in noise.cash. Tiring coz you rake down the olives by hand and there are sooo many trees with sooo many branches! Yesterday, the Tuscan sky turned fuchsia. Around 17.00 o'clock a spectacular fuchsia - pink -purple sky greeted people across Tuscany. "The best sky in many years" - said one on social media and I'd go along with that, it was really amazing.💖✨ These are some of my pictures of the staggering pink. To meet sequoias you don’t need to fly to California, it's enough to take a walk in the park of the Castle of Sammezzano, Tuscany, Italy. We went for a wonderful walk in the woods to reach these majestic sequoia, centuries-old trees. And standing beneath these mesmerizing trunks leaves you speechless, makes you feel humble & appreciative.
