Wine grape harvest time is here! 🍇🍷the busiest time of the year for wineries in Tuscany. Here I am walking around in one of the vineyard of the property Fratelli Grati. There will be a cellar tour and wine tasting for tourists. Great experience, huh? These are the fruits of their passion & commitment and yes, that is a huge bottle of Chianti wine facing on the hills among the vineyards. #Dana📸

I just stand here, at my neighbor's house, admiring this unique plant she bought the other day. A beautiful 'Alluaudia procera' from Madagascar. Look at those leaves & thorns regularly spaced side by side. How amazing is this plant? All it needs is a bright sun shining as possible all year round. In Tuscany there are plenty of dry, sunny days but winter is usually wetter. Good luck beauty, we'll see how it goes! 🤞 #Dana📸

When the autumn rains begin, brighten up a rainy day with a colourful umbrella. In Tuscany no matter which road you choose, you can always find superb views. Smaller country roads offer a dreamier scene such as vineyards, olive groves and ancient farmhouses. And tranquility! It wasn't sunny yesterday but in spite of this we went to the beach for a walk, anyway. 📍Marina di Pisa, Ligurian Sea, the trip takes about an hour and a half from where we live. The sky has changed shades all the time and it looked as if it was going to rain but it didn't rain in the end. A pleasant place to spend a cloudy Sunday.
