As you mop your brow you can say in Italian "Caldo bestiale" 😓 and can be translated as terrible, beastly heat. Literally! Another not just warm, but also sweltering days with the temperatures that surpassed 40C. They believe the heat wave will last until the end of the month. Thanks goodness that's over, hopefully! Spending Friday in Florence 🤩 We parked and than we went to this restaurant, actually a 'Pizzeria', a new opening that I absolutely wanted to try. Looks like kinda fancy place, right? More from the wonderful day trip in the Bucegi Mts.💙💚 The Bucegi mountains are really ideal for day hikes. The cable car can be used to go up & down the mountains. There is also telegondola going upstairs, is a lil'more expensive but so much faster. The view is amazing and the sensation from the telegondola is also amazing. From there you can also hike to higher destinations on foot, the path takes about 3,4 hours round trip and will reward you with spectacular views. It was…

It's #ThrowbackThursday! #Tbt to dicembre 2016. That day there was a dark, cloudy sky and we were worried it might rain while we were visiting Rome. Well, it didn't! About 100 km north of Rome there is a very peaceful & picturesque lake.📍Lake Bolsena. That day, the lake was a mirror, just sat silent under the blanket of clouds. Yesterday we had planned a day trip to the lake. We first had to decide where we want to go. And Emerald Lake was the answer. 💙💚 Emerald lake is one of the several hidden gems of 📍 Racoș, a village in Brasov county. There is also an extinct volcano, the Basalt Columns, and the Sukosd Bethlen Castle. Having visited the Emerald Lake we headed towards the extinct volcano. A moonlike scenery shows up right here, on our home planet. After the extinct volcano and the emerald lake here there are the extremely interesting Basalt Columns. They seem created by sculptors, right? 💙 As per MrGoogle "the formation of these basalt columns was created by rapid cooling down the lava which was spilled on to pyroclas layer. Due to its composition and high content of silica, lava tends to cool fairly quickly and it hardens almost instantly and thus forms columns." Interesting, right? Have a great week! #Dana📸

Lovely & curious goats wandering around and exploring anything. I've been lucky enough to meet these two while out, exploring the glorious countryside. They 'hired' some goats to help clear some weeds in the backyard and these are the sweetest of them all. I might have trouble reveal the differences between female or male goats cause they say female goats do have horns too, but I really don't care cause both are cute and funny. Our short holiday in the heart of Transylvania, Romania comes to an end. 😔 This is 📍Brașov on a grey day. Yesterday I showed you the imposing Black Church in📍 Brașov, a very beautiful town in Transylvania -Romania. Actually Brașov is one of the most beautiful & visited places in Romania. First photo is a a view of the city from above, from the Mount Tâmpa (Brașov is located at the foot of this ~1000mt mountain.) Back in Italy. On our way home we stopped for dinner at this simple and genuine 'trattoria' where you can try typical Abruzzese food: arrosticini! (grilled lamb skewers) All we had to do was follow the tempting - smoking aroma, cause arrosticini are cooked over an open flame. We enjoyed several types of the specialty and they were all fantastic!
