You can post short messages. Can you write an article? I only have weird messages like not being able to save but it does. I write, save the draft. Next I go to drafts and add the picture (it gives failures at time as well but if I try later it works. No idea if it is a browser issue or a failure in the site (also no idea if there's still someone to reach out for). Btw hyperlinks to pictures work so you can add them instead of uploading a picture. I hope it helps.
