๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ™Œ Bought bitcoins, forgot about them and got rich In 2009, Norwegian student Kristoffer Koch wrote a paper on encryption. He was looking for materials on this topic on the Internet and accidentally discovered information about bitcoin. To back up his work with a practical part, Koch purchased 5,000 bitcoins, paying only $27 for them at the then exchange rate. And then forgot about this deal. And then came 2013, when bitcoin was actively growing, and a lot was written about it in the media. Koch saw the news about the record growth of bitcoin, and decided to check his wallet. It turned out that he had $885,000 at his disposal. Koch sold 20% of his bitcoins and bought an apartment, and saved the remaining 80% for the future. The hero of this story was lucky that he kept access to his wallet, otherwise his wealth would have remained in the blockchain. He didn't wait for his coins to rise, but that's kind of how patience works. #bitcoin #btc #cryptocurrency #crypto
