📰 Online services are blocking the wallets of famous people because someone sends them cryptocurrency from the Tornado Cash crypto-mixer banned by the US authorities The attacker sent 0.1 ETH to the wallet addresses of famous people in the crypto industry, due to which they can no longer connect their wallets to popular decentralized protocols such as Aave, dYdX, Oasis.app and other online services. An unknown person made transactions to 440 addresses through Tornado Cash, which the US authorities recently added to the sanctions list. Among the recipients was the founder of the TRON cryptocurrency Justin Sun. 0.1 ETH was sent to his wallet via Tornado Cash, after which his wallet was blocked by the Aave decentralized protocol. Also among the recipients was the head of the crypto exchange Coinbase. Cryptocurrency with Tornado Cash was sent, among other things, to various addresses of the centralized crypto exchanges Binance and FTX. Tornado Cash is a cryptocurrency mixer through which billions of criminal money were laundered. It is also known that it was used by hackers from the DPRK.
