This is the walnut tree in our backyard. A short time ago you saw its unripe fruits here https://noise.cash/post/1v732pm4. Say goodbye to it, this is probably the last photo. The tree is sick (a fungus) and will be cut down tomorrow morning. It has always given us a good harvest but now the time has come for it to become a danger. A great pity.

It's so sad to cut down a tree like that. But safety for all.
Right, safety first in that case. Everybody wants to keep it but there is no way.
DUDE, my neighbor just cut down a walnut tree like 2 months ago. Whatever you do, keep that freaking trunk in like good 6 foot sections and sell it. Walnut wood is stupid expensive and stupid pretty. Sure it weighs a shit ton but a full size Walnut tree could net you like $9,000 from just selling the bigger trunks!!! well that is unless the fungi has rotten away the trunk and then yeah it won't be worth a ton. I wager though if that tree was good wood it would be at least a couple grand of lumber
Yes, I think it's rotten, that's what the tree experts said. And it's not mine, so I can't decide what will happen. I thought about it but as I said, nothing to say for me.
oh yeah well then that sucks :(
