I have already told you a few times about Diego, the German shepherd of a good friend, and also about his accident (https://noise.cash/post/vqv6mrxbqrvj). Now the operation has to be paid for and Diego could use some help. If you have a heart for animals and too much money on PayPal, you can do a good deed. Here is a short summary from Diego "himself - (German below) Hello everyone, I hope you are well. Some of you may have heard that something really stupid happened to me at the turn of the year: Impetuous as always, I was probably a bit too curious and made off on my evening dog walk. There was something in my nose - but I can't remember what it was. Well, in any case I had a car accident, broke my leg and had to be operated on. The big shock is over for now and fortunately I'm doing reasonably well again. At home I'm being well looked after - I'm even allowed on the couch now (sometimes, if they don't notice). Now I have to take it easy for a while and if the leg continues to heal well, I can start physiotherapy in March. It's also possible that I'll have to go under the knife again, but I don't want to think about that just yet. The short trip not only gave me a big scare, but was also quite expensive. Unfortunately, the insurance only covers a small part of it and that's why I'd like to ask you if you can help me with this. Der ein oder andere hat es ja sicherlich schon gehört, dass mir zum Jahreswechsel etwas richtig Dummes passiert ist: Ungestüm wie immer war ich wohl ein bisschen zu neugierig und hab mich auf der abendlichen Hunderunde aus dem Staub gemacht. Irgendwas lag wohl in der Nase – weiß nur nicht mehr was es war. Naja, auf jeden Fall hatte ich einen Autounfall, habe mir das Bein gebrochen und musste operiert werden. Der große Schreck ist erstmal vorbei und mir geht es zum Glück wieder einigermaßen gut. Zuhause werde ich auch gerade gut versorgt – ich darf nun sogar auf die Couch (also manchmal, wenn sie es nicht mitbekommen). Jetzt muss ich mich noch ein bisschen schonen und wenn das Bein weiter so gut verheilt, kann im März dann die Physiotherapie anfangen. Allerdings kann es auch sein, dass ich auch nochmal unters Messer muss, aber daran will ich jetzt noch gar nicht denken. Der kurze Ausflug hat mir nicht nur einen großen Schreck eingejagt, sondern war auch ganz schön teuer. Die Versicherung übernimmt leider nur einen kleinen Teil und deshalb möchte ich euch fragen, ob ihr mir bei der Sache weiterhelfen könnt.
