The bridge at the end of the road Every now and then I noise about my trip to Ecuador. The actual reason for the visit was an ecological internship at the Fundacion Ecologica Curiquingue near the provincial capital Tena in the province of Napo. The foundation took care of the protection and reforestation of the rainforest. A branch of the foundation is located deep in the rainforest in an area where not even a road leads. The road ends at this bridge and after that it is only possible to continue on foot and on horseback. Unfortunately, the foundation had to stop its work a few years ago. The destruction of the forest continues to progress. So I have one laughing eye and one crying eye. The memory of the internship is always beautiful, the thought of what might be there now makes me sad.

What a great place! It's like time stopped there!
Vantovy pedestrian bridge. I love these distinctive places :)
