My congratulations to Brazil! Finally you have managed to remove the fascist from power. This gives me a little hope that the rainforest can be saved after all. At least its destruction is hopefully no longer being demanded by the state. And maybe people who don't fit "their norm" will get a little better treatment now. This is not to say that I think everything will get better now. I am well aware of the past. But anything is better than a fascist government. As a German, I should know... Little hope, but at least hope as we now got about another 15 idiots in power to remove to have any chance to make the world a slightly better place
Only 15? That sounds doable. But yes, you're right, there's still a lot of work ahead of humanity.
Everyone of us here are free to express our opinion aand thoughts. I respect that.
Yes we understand, it's your opinion and totally understand that.
Frankly... The choices were both pretty bad 😔 corruption seems to be the "normal" in Brasil, they're so used to it that they can't see a way out. My friends living in my guests house say that elections are always a joke, ppl get paid to vote, nothing is transparent there ... It would take a major change but no one is willing to make it
Unfortunately, I have the same impression. Nevertheless, Lula is probably the lesser evil.
Lesser evil... 😔 What a world we live in 😤
Yes, it is disgusting.
I like what you have to say! Enjoy the sunny afternoon.
Now that I read it, the sunny part is over. But I try to enjoy the last free hours.
As with anything, there is already pushback from the results. What comes with democratic access to 'information' is also democratic access to 'beliefs' & a huge part of human psychology is defining one's self vs the beliefs of another (strengthens small tribes--doesn't always help with larger population groups trying to march towards progress) so... I just hope that everyone stays safe since with change can come violence.
