Döben Castle Ruin in Saxony/Germany Today we visited Döben Castle. Unfortunately, there is not much left of it. In my school days I took part in excavations in the ruins. I helped build the small oven back then, it's nice that it's still standing. Unfortunately, many of the exposed walls have already been buried again. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful, quiet place where you can still feel the history.
