Slowly, you can't deny it any more: Winter is here. I think this is the first photo of snow I've posted here. Please correct me if I'm wrong. But it's also the first time in years that there's been any real snow here. Slippery roads, accidents, delayed trams and everything that goes with winter. And I admit, once you get past the traffic, it's actually quite nice. Almost like in the old days.

Eh, I got over snow a long time ago. It'd be fine if it snowed when it was warm out, I just don't do cold these days. I will say this though, the cardinals really pop out an eye catching red against a blanket of white...these are all from my front yard February 2021.
You're right, a little snow in summer would be a nice change. But the pictures are really beautiful, I bet you have about 1000 more.
Nice picture. Winter has arrived here in the Midwest USA . Well, sort of. It comes and goes π
Same here but it will stay now for at least a week.
Beautiful photo, but I don't like winter. I like warmth and sun, I hope the cold will soon be over.
Same here, the only thing I like is the silence when there is snow.
The silence because the birds are gone π
Yes, some of them. And the snow eats the noise around. Snow is a good insulation.
Feel free to keep it there, I just happily look up to the Sierra Nevada from my balcony
Great π
Not a bad view, besides the houses on the right. I think I would love that wide view, miss it here.
Yeah I can't have it all, blowing up those houses is not really an option π€£
At least you can look to the left ^^
How I wish to touch the snow and ran barefooted on it..π π
Hehe I would like to see you. You have no idea how icy it is π¦
Aww..I really have no idea but I really want to experience it for once in a lifetime...π
I prefer not to do that, you never know whats under the snow ;)
Oh...I thought it's like a cotton candy....but I really want to experience it....π
It's getting harder to find snow. We all have to change to change that.
What do you mean?its hard to find a snow?isn't your country always having snow every year?
No, not every year, at least not as much as we used to have 20 years ago. Real good snow that makes fun is rare, at least where Iive. Most of the time it's mud or water as soon as it touches the ground.
Oh..I never expect that...
The climate change... At least I experienced real white winters when I was a child.
Are you sad that' it's not like before?
It's better for energy saving and not so dangerous while driving when there is no snow but somehow I like the white landscape. So I'm not really sad, I take it like it comes.
Yeah..that's true...its dangerous whole driving and dangerous for the health of the kids...
Will you build a snowmanβ?
Made a small (very small) one with my son yesterday. I search the photo and make some noise about it I guess.
