I just had a visit from a representative of Deutsche Telekom who offered me a better internet connection. When I told him that my current connection is more than twice as fast as the best his company has to offer for much more money, he left pretty quickly. I wish the telespam operators would give up that easily. Takes me forever to get them to shut up and hang up on me once in a while. ☺
It went surprisingly fast. But that may also be because unwanted advertising is illegal here, at least by mail or on the phone. I don't know exactly how it is at the front door.
But I could have sooooooooooo much fun with a door visitor - "Why hello there, come on in and sit a spell. Want a hit from the bong?" ;-)
I don't think he would have said no to that. But I don't like people in the flat that I don't know.
it's like Czech Telekom. This is expensive and slow. Also, there are private companies that will connect us cheaper and faster.
We chooses the best indeed, specially for internet connection that we always need.
