What happened this time? I'm obviously from somewhere where people my income bracket don't keep track of such things.
Apart from corruption, slave-like working conditions during the construction of the stadiums and homphobia, everything is actually good. Although, we are sure to find a few more grievances on closer inspection.
Corruption will always be the word attached to it. The other stuff I'm not sure if it's an organization thing or a member country organizations thing. But the reason why l don't keep up with it is because of how weird it is that you can get the best players & still not win it all. In basketball it's similar, but you see the best players dominate individually, but in football, not so much. Altho l was a Real Madrid Galactico Fan from the Zizou era so you can't really think much about my opinion on this.
I don't care much about this kind of "sport" any more. I just think we could save a lot of resources.

I know it's a corrupt organization like many others. Is there any specific reason for the hate? Not a big fan football either, especially no favorite team is playing. Just curious
The corruption in the awarding of the World Cup, the inhumane way the stadiums were built and the homophobic prejudices. But corruption sums it all up well, I think.
