Star gazing tonight in the Mojave desert. Sadly this was the best my phone could do. Despite the milky way being visible with the naked eye. Time to buy a camera I think.

Hate that feeling when you see something so awesome but you know your camera (phone) won't capture even half of it
I've had that issue so often here I'm contemplating buying an SLR camera. I just wish they weren't so big.
Tbh I don't know what SLR camera is, but I'm sure you can find something in the middle (size vs quality tradeoff)
