I had a great day Friday reliving my teenage years. Visited Universal studios Hollywood, mostly to visit Hogsmeade and Hogwarts. It's been well over a decade since I read the books, soooo much better than the movies.
Went shopping in LA. I liked this coat but looking at the price, whew. Maybe in a year once BCH moons.
Yesterday was the first day after my second Moderna jab, had fever dreams and body aches so was given the day off work. Feel absolutely fine now, so hopefully that's the last of it.
Inadvertently took a picture on the 18th August of the start of the Kern Valley French fire. Its currently still burning today.
Just unstaked 550 HIVE power from a curation bot on HIVE. It had been getting some bad press for misuse of votes, plus was only returning 12% to me. I think with manual curation I can achieve much more. Especially as once I power up this HP to myself my votes should be worth around 3¢ If this works out well I may release another 500HP to myself shortly.

Another from my Yosemite trip. A four mile hike up to Glacier point. Only to find there was a car park that tourists could drive to. Kind of spoiled the experience for us. But what a view. One more photo to come after this, then I'll write a hive article and upload loads more pictures.
Trying not to reveal my identity but had to share this with you guys. At the top of Glacier point was a squirrel so bold he would come up to you just by gesturing that you might have food. At one point he tried climbing into my backpack.

Good old Instagram recommending me things that while I am interested in, are way too expensive for what they are. First pic is the targeted ad: £32.74 for just the burner. Second pic is after 5 mins on ebay: £24.99 with 100 incense cones. Probably still over priced for what it is but I'm sure the missus will appreciate it.
Turns out I had nothing to worry about with posting a second HIVE travel article. It made twice as much as the first! Looking forward to travelling next weekend and taking enough pictures to be able to write another now.
What a funny place America can be sometimes. As a Brit I've been mocked for "lack of freedom" once or twice since being here (drunks in bars admittedly). Some of my colleagues want to visit Yosemite this weekend but it's "fully booked". Only America could restrict access and monetize 1,200 Square miles. I know its for park upkeep but still, its just weird.

Went back to Death Valley for a few hours to visit something we missed, the smoke had cleared enough to snap this view. Slightly gutted about Dantes view being too far to revisit 😭
Remember when idiots panic bought toilet paper and caused a global shortage? Turns out Brits didn't learn their lesson and have panic bought petrol. The shortage is so bad ambulances aren't able to refuel. I hate being told what I can and can't do by the government but then I remember that the general public are total idiots.
