So Facebook had one of my funniest memories from early driving days 🤣. I is almost 13 years since I started driving😎 My dad used to have an old Honda Civic which had speedometer issues. The speedometer used to to counter clockwise 🤣🤣. I used to brag in front of my friends that I drive at such high speeds 🤣🤣

Dinner tonight at one of the most famous Arabic restaurants in Qatar. This restaurant is near the college where I studied so it was a daily for us during college days 😉 We had their famous “kebda” which is lamb liver and “adas” which is their creamy lentils 🤤 Anyways , the visit today for dinner today really made me and the friends nostalgic 😛

A view of the main courtyard of one of the malls in Qatar that was unlucky to have opened during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the restrictions are lifting since early this year, I also visited it today. It is called Ezdan mall wakrah and is still kind of deserted. Anyways I liked the work they have done on the roof and those hanging shiny balls as well. 😉

Went to the local industrial area to pick up my friends car from one of the garages after work. It was sunset time and I didn’t have a nice view to capture it. The best I could do for you guys was to snap a shot from back of my car to cover the totaled cars and get the maximum coverage of the colors being portrayed on the sky 😍😉

Today I did not have much work in the office so I got sometime to work on my assignment. I stand at around 1200 words right now and still have to right another 2000 words before I finish it . I have been craving for some Chinese food for weeks now. Today I managed to grab some Chinese takeout from this lovely place called X-Fire. I got there rice noodles with beef and chicken and their special X-fire spicy sauce🤤. Their cheesy dynamite shrimps are to die for which I had last time. Anyways cravings full filled 😉😅

So this is a shot that I snapped in December last year. It is from a family park called Museum of Islamic Arts park and the building on the left in the photo is the Museum after which park is named 😉 It is again a very prominent tourist spot in Qatar and these old wooden ships are put there as part of historical items 😊

Sometimes you just want to be alone like this house in the middle of the river in Serbia 🇷🇸 I snapped this “Lonely House” during my visit to Belgrade in Serbia in 2019. It was built by a group of swimmers who would get tired during their swim and would rest here. It really appealed me the way they were determined to do so.

About last night dinner 🥵 So we went to this Egyptian place called Petra and it is very famous for its shawarmas in Peta bread. Anyways I usually love to eat spicy shawarma and yesterday me and a Friend had a challenge to eat 3x the usual spice we eat😅 Of course both or us did not back out but now I can’t eat anything and have burning sensation around the chest. I guess I need some milk to neutralize the acidity effect for all the spices from last night🥵🥵

So last night’s shopping ended with this monstrous dinner at Cheesecake Factory 🤤 I had the classic ribeye stake cooked to medium with mashed potatoes and shredded corn and a chipotle pasta 😉 Honestly one of the best stake I had in a long time. It was perfectly cooked and the cut was good too😊

So yesterday has a double happy day for me. Every year at Qatar national day celebration we have a fireworks show. Yesterday they announced that this year there will be no celebrations for the national day which falls on 18th December 🤐 This is one of the shots that I snapped last year and I was really looking forward to snapping this year’s as well. Ok so today I got a notification about a bank that I used to use and still have the app in my phone. The notification was to update the app and just by chance I opened to check what are the new updates. I was surprised to see that a bank in Qatar will be using Ripple #XRP network for instant payments😉 The government here has banned all types of trading and dealing for crypto yet one of the biggest bank is using blockchain based tech 😅 I think this is a good sign for adoption…

As I have said before that I work for an airline and airlines are directly connected to the airport. Airports have duty free shops and those shops have imported food stuff including Swiss chocolates 🍫😉 So today we had a sale of buy one get one free on this famous Lindt Swiss chocolate 😉. It costed about 10 dollars for one and the other one I got for free 😊

So today while driving towards the hypermarket for my grocery shopping, I was held at a traffic signal. Since the sun was setting, I thought of doing an experiment 😉 So here are two shots that I snapped from the same spot while waiting in the traffic signal. The first one is focused on the cars Odometer and the other one on the setting sun. See the difference of output just by adjusting the focus. Photography is truly a fascinating science in my opinion 😊

Since I was super busy at work today and worked without my meals , I had to grab this refreshing caramel macchiato to get some boost before my early dinner😉 It is almost end of October but we still have an average temperature of 37 degrees during day time. Once upon a time in London 😍 If any of you have visited London or seen movies based in London, you would know how prominent these red phone booths are there 😉. They are like part of the culture and history there. Sadly, recently I read in one article that they have started modernization of these and replacing them with a full glass structure and grey facade 🤮 I snapped this shot back in 2018 😊

So this is love valley in Cappadocia, Turkey 🇹🇷 To be honest, I have been lucky enough to have visited more than 25 countries and more than 40 cities in those countries 😉 but I always say that Turkey hits me differently everytime 😉 The love valley has rock formations that date back million of years and the view they create is truly unparalleled.

Since it is Wednesday which means we had our team building weekly lunch today 😉 This week it was my turn and my colleague insisted on getting some authentic Pakistani food for lunch 🥗 So I got these delicious mutton chapli kebabs with some Haleem and Chiken karahi 😍 One of my female colleagues does not eat meat so that is why I had to order a karahi chicken for her. Today I am attending my final class for my MBA. As most of you know that the next Fifa world cup will be held next year and the host country is Qatar😍 and that is also where I live 😉 This is one of the stadiums that will be used during the event and it is being Inaugurated today and will hold the final of one of the local football tournaments 😉 I snapped this shot yesterday while driving past it and it is shaped after the traditional Arabic cap that arabs us in their dressing and for prayers. Who wants some Baklava 😍 So there is a place in Qatar, called Al-Aker sweets. They have the best Baklava I ever had. I have tried Baklava in UAE, Saudi, Turkey and Qatar. Do you guys know about the dancing house In Prague? 😍 Well the picture I shared with you guys is the dancing house in Prague. The architecture is such that it looks like a lady is dancing 💃😅. When I snapped this photo, I was trying to see and understand why if is called the dancing house. One guy nearby told me that if you keep focusing on it a little while late it would seem that the house is dancing 😅 I stopped there for good 10 mins but the house did not more😅😅

The famous Torch tower in Qatar 😍 It is an iconic building which was built back in 2006 during the Asian games in Qatar. On top of the tower, there is a torch that was lit during the asian games tournament. After the event the tower was converted into a luxury 5-star hotel 😉 Snapped this shot some month ago using my Iphone😊

The camera did not have a good zoom quality so I had to work with this view which is way far than what it normally should be😂 Anyways, it was almost sunset time when I snapped it and as you can see on the left side of the screen there are sun rays approaching the buildings 😊

Wanted some sandwiches for lunch so came to this Kuwaiti sandwich place😉 They have one of the best Falafel sandwiches and very cheap also 😁 for 1.5 dollars you get 3 small slider type sandwiches. So I get two boxes which is like 6 sandwiches, enough for me 😉

So as you guys would now, Wednesday is our team building lunch . Today one of the team members who is from South of India, treated us to some South Indian dishes. We had beef coconut fry, chicken tikka masala(southern style) and dragon chicken with malabar prathas 😉the food was nice and perfectly spicy 😉

Yesterday I slept really late and for some reason I just got up really early as well. Got ready early and just reached work. The corridors are really empty as nobody is in the office yet. Treated myself with some KFC for lunch . I got to say that KFC has uped their package game and the black colored box is really lit. I ordered their wings which is a new item in their list. I am a big fan of wings and KFC ones were really nice too. Anyways KFC makes me feel really full always and I am not sure how will I complete 2 more hours at work without sleeping 😅😅

Ended up in a mall and his weekend with friends 😉 It is Mall of Qatar and the main courtyard is one of the best I have seen. The screens, the lightenings and these green pillars really create a luxurious vibe. As I have mentioned before that there is a FIFA Arab cup that will be hosted by Qatar as a test run for the World Cup next year, I managed to join their IT team as a volunteer 😉 Today was the role specific training and it was really a lovely experience to attend the training and then get to know the people I will be working with 😉

So yesterday I went to this Hotel park for a walk in the evening as the weather now is well suited for outdoor activities 😉 The building you can see in the photo is one of oldest buildings in Qatar and is the Sheraton Hotel - Doha. There was a time it was the only Five Star hotel in Doha. Around two years ago it was fully renovated and a park was built next to it with this lovely dancing fountain 😍 Will share more photos soon😉

So the hotel park I was talking about in my last post also has a very lovely and up front view of the Doha skyline 😍 Found the perfect spot to capture the shot that covers most of the skyscrapers in Doha skyline 😉. The lightening in that area is still no so good so I had to make some adjustments to my shot 😊

This is another similar shot from my visit to hotel park. You guys can see that the water is looking smoother and the color of the fountain is also different 😍 This is because the fountain has RGB lights and I used the long exposure effect in my Iphone to get this output 😉
