The one mistake I see the #BitcoinCash community making every day is that we seem to be incapable of selling BCH to newbies without trying to unsell #BTC to them. This is not only wrong and arrogant, it is counterproductive. 1. You're assuming that the newbie lacks good judgement to choose which coin they believe serves their best interest. Sell them the benefits of #BCH and let them decide for themselves whether it's better than BTC or any other coin they must have already learned about. 2. We should have something to say about BCH without it having to be a comparison with BTC. 3. BCH should be presented and sold on its own merit and not on the failures of another #cryptocurrency (BTC). What do you think about the constant reference to BTC by BCH promoters?

I mean, I don't really mind that BCH is compared to BTC, considering that BCHers are BTCers that are frustrated that someone took over and turned BTC to some item that they can only do with BCH. And while your points are correct, you're missing some details. 1. Bitcoin Cash *started* as Bitcoin. 2. Bitcoin Cash is what they hear about Bitcoin if they search around, the peer-to-peer electronic cash that is magic internet money. 3. r/Bitcoin and BitcoinTalk evicted *actual* people that helped grow Bitcoin to what it was, and why it's the "number 1" cryptocurrency. 4. r/BTC is named r/BTC because it was the "uncensored r/Bitcoin sub" back in 2013. Of course in typical Reddit fashion, when a sub has an "uncensored counterpart", that uncensored sub will have all the negativity that their parent subreddit is. Which is Bitcoin being a bitch to use when it's not supposed to. Now to see your three points. 1. Isn't that what we're doing already? 2. Okay, so you want to stop BCHers from explaining why their coin is best than BTC. 3. BCH's merit is the failures of BTC. BCH is *meant* to be spent as money. BTC *should* be spent as money, but not without the stupid fees. Look, if you want to sell BCH without mentioning BTC, do it. But the basis of BCH is being usable cash, which BTC claims to be and the crypto market conveniently decided to trash the idea.
for now I'm still monitoring BCH, because I'm mining there. I also don't know whether to go up or down this week. if it goes down again I'm very bad
