Absolute decentralization is impractical... Just like true democracy, absolute #decentralization is not only impossible, any attempt at it will impede progress and eventually fail. Humans are incapable of coexisting or making any meaningful progress without some form of authority or governance. Even what we call decentralization today is equivalent to operating under a government that listens to us, which is the code. The code is the new government that we trust. The code seems most desirable for the freedom we seek because, unlike our national governments, we can tell it exactly how we want to be governed, and it will act accordingly. However, code does not create itself, nor does it do marketing or manage public relations. So, eventually, a small group of people within the community would acquire controlling influence and then a central power base over the code and the community is formed. Absolute decentralization, where no small group of entities control and influence the majority is not possible here humans are involved. Do you think that full decentralization as we dream of it is achievable? #blockchain #cryptocurrency #crypto
