If you're holding some #NFTs with no use case (utility) or does not have any plans to build utility into them in the nearest future, start throwing them away or be ready to HODL forever. From 2022 onward, hardly any normal person will buy those JPEGs we call #NFT arts. NFTs are gaining new and more functionalities and that's what would be driving the value up or down in the months and years ahead. #cryptocurrency #crypto

How did you come to this conclusion?
common sense... and observing market evolution. The market is moving from mostly hype to functionality. Hype will have its place, but the money will be flowing into functional projects as the market matures.
I got some free drops from atomic hub and trying to sell them as soon as possible. Some of them are having a good listing price on the market but barely sell 1. I don't even know their use-case or maybe just a design in my wallet.
There's always the use case for just holding, in some cases. Take CryptomonKeys, for example. People are getting other new NFT's this season that they can flip on the market, just for the fact of having previous CryptomonKeys NFT's in their wallets. Just the heads-up to say people might want to look into this sort of "mechanic" before deciding to burn anything.
I still contend NFTs are ultimately worthless. But of course, I have been wrong many times in my life. lol
Well, it all comes down to people and scarcity... We could just burn a Van Gogh for warmth on cold days... Or use those sports collecting cards to start the fire... Why would any normal person buy a piece of canvas with some paint splatter on it?
But Van Gogh was an artist who produced things worth looking at an appreciating. Most of these NFTs are stick men and pixelated garbage. lol
Although I agree who are we to judge what others might see as awesome...
There is truth to that. But many of these NFTs may only be enjoyed by the individual that owns them. Great works of art are worth something because millions of people appreciate them, but only one guy owns it.
We can all see what others own. It is just less easy to do. We all appreciate or hate some art. And for the most part, there is not much art in the public domain. They all have owners. Do you know how much art is in private collections that we might never see? I do get what you are saying but I think NFTs and real are very similar. People can screenshot NFTs so as people can make a fake painting of a famous one.
Why do you think so?
