I thought it was only governments and clueless elites that complains of #Bitcoin volatility and the tendency to be used for criminal activities... So, El Salvador citizens are "fighting" against Bitcoin for the same reasons governments all over the world are using to fight Bitcoin. Doesn't this seem like words have been put in the mouth of those said citizens, by some powerful world lords? I wouldn't imagine myself advocating against my country adopting Bitcoin or any prominent crypto as a legal tender. Would you? are the citizens of #ElSalvador really “fighting #Bitcoin” as reported in the medias or is it politically motivated and orchestrated???? that was my first thought when read about citizens taking to the streets, didn’t sound like grassroots revolution maybe our very own @ijatz_La_Hojita will continue to enlighten us
Even if in the long run they will get more, the transition period is problematic, to say the least. A worker on a monthly pay gets his crypto payment and the next day the market goes bearish. Suddenly everything costs a few % more. To be able to get over the 'dependancy' period you need a financial reserve and many do not have that. Let alone trading is not an option for most.
