Last week #BitMart exchange was hacked and it lost $200 million of users funds. Today, #AscendEX exchange was also hacked for $78 million. This is why "storing" or holding your coins on an exchange is not a good idea. Though some exchanges promise to reimburse you if you suffer a loss due to these hacks, but what if they can't or refuse to? What if they're hacked beyond what they have in their insurance fund? Your coins should be in your wallet, because you are your own bank. That's what crypto is all about. #crypto #cryptocurrency

It is really worrisome seeing all these exchanges getting hacked easily. We wouldn't know if actually they are being hacked or they are the ones doing that.
