The first suspect of the PolyNetwork #hack of $600 million is the devs. 1. How comes there's no security system in place to prevent the unauthorized access and transfer of $600 million worth of crypto? 2. Who knows the system better enough to pull such elaborate hack off? Of course, it's the project devs. 3. Its call for other protocols like MakerDAO, Uniswap to blacklist the supposed hacker's wallets is either lame at best or the team are clueless that it's not possible. I can bet with all my bitcoin that they're not expecting any DeFi protocol to blacklist that address. So it's just an empty call. This is a major disadvantage of #decentralization and crypto generally. Some bad actors can fuck you up overnight and nothing will happen.
