There are arguments and speculations that #NFTs are being used to launder money and there might be some truth in it. Because when you look at some of the NFTs that are selling for millions of dollars, that neither make any aesthetic sense or have any practical use case(s) whatsoever. At best their graphics is as basic and bland as possible. Makes you wonder, if the motive is not to move money around, why would anyone pay millions of dollars for them?
