Here's how #Ethereum layer 2 solutions (especially rollups) are supposed to significantly drop gas fees with increased transactions. Transactions are batched and the gas fee is divided among all users included in each transaction. So say the network currently batches 100 users transactions at $150 each user pays a $15 fee. If the number of users and transactions increases and it batches 1000 transactions at say, the same $150 gas fee, each user pays $1.5. Therefore Ethereum layer 2 solutions are theoretically going to lower gas fee costs for traders and investors, and not fall into the same loop of high gas fees caused by the increased transaction the mainchain faces. #cryptocurrency #crypto #defi
