redistribute 8% … to themselves

It is not just ABC vs BCHN. It is a major misrepresentation to paint it like that.

The IFPv4 is intended to be permanent. The article from 24 Apr is outdated now.

ASERT is a new DAA that ensures more regular block times.

I did not help ABC “bring the IFP forward”. I left because of the IFPv4.

Thanks for your input George. I appreciate the clarification on what you mentioned. As for the comments, I was just going over Marc's tweet. I looked at a lot of articles, videos etc...and it is mostly shown that way....one vs. the other. I am not an BCH "insider" per say, so this is what I was able to make of it. Cheers!

ABC vs. BCCN more likely. This implementation diverting 8% to funding to their control, doesn't like anyone, but of course, ABC

Some other people who are not well-informed or may be biased are presenting that way.... but it is demonstrably NOT that way, and therefore representing it that way is a disservice to your audience because it is not factually correct.

If you will take the time to make the video, why not produce something accurate?

Come on now! Why don't you clarify it then. It's funny I looked at your information and still not able to paint a clear picture...I have been "observing" BCH for the last two years...imagine someone new in crypto all together...Instead of going for two hours on random discussions (Youtube videos you hosted)...maybe your team or others should make shorter videos and explain. I did not want to go that way, but since you did....

This is the shortest explanation:

The Bitcoin-ABC team has chosen to alter their client so miners running their software have to pay the ABC company 8% of the income made with this software. It is not unheard of for companies to start charging for their services, but as this is open source software AND there are several other competing products that do the same or better, it is extremely likely that miners will say no to the proposal and they will stop running the crippled software from the company shipping ABC.

After November 15th the ABC software will stubbornly refuse to follow the Bitcoin Cash chain as a result of this.

This means that people running the ABC client will have to migrate to a client that will actually follow the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) chain. Check the BCH website for more: https://bch.info/en/nodes

one vs. the other.

social media can be confusing that way, the one that screams the loudest ends up sounding like he is telling the truth. Be wary when a lot of money is involved and don't stop at social media.

You can find some facts in lots of places. For instance there are 6 implementations mentioned on https://bch.info, whereas there is exactly one on bitcoincash.org, showing its not 1 implemenation vs another.

Need more proof? What about the support of the ecosystem: https://read.cash/@sha256_88ebd526/bitcoin-cash-bch-november-2020-upgrade-statement-f7c03159

Count the signatures ;)

And here is another one from BCH miners: https://read.cash/@asicseer/joint-statement-from-bch-miners-regarding-bitcoin-abc-and-the-november-2020-bch-upgrade-2cbdc38d

Even more signatures (last I counted these together added up to well over 50). Not easy-to-fake social media, but actual support by real companies.

All these people make up BCH. And in their little corner is ABC claiming that they need to take 8%.

When you want to take over an entire ecosystem it helps to make it easy for the onlookers. Make it about one person vs another. Because then its an easy fight, an easy choice. And this is exactly how ABC wants to play it, make it about BCHN as their enemy, anything bad with BCHN makes ABC look good.

The reality is that its ABC vs the entire BCH ecosystem. And all the hard-to-fake statistics show they are losing. Social media is the only weapon left to them, don't fall for it and do your due dilligence.
