Gordon Writes Thoughts About BCH This is my first attempt writing on this platform, so bear with me. I like writing in an informal style, likely because I often write professionally... like for a living, and there are very strict formats, lots of research, keywords and the sort. I'm passionate about crypto, specifically even more so about (the real) Bitcoin. My guess is that in the spirit of decentralization, I am allowed to write about dissenting opinion even though I am not anti-Bitcoin Cash. Taking a stroll down memory lane, I was there when the split from the original Bitcoin into BCH took place, and then the split from BCH by the (hehe real) Satoshinot and the hash rate war between BCH and BS...V (I like to write it that way, bc they really put the b.s. into BSV). What soured me with both alternatives to Bitcoin, was not the fueding (why does word editor not know this word? hehe) technologies, but what happened between the people. The recipient of the proud crown title of Bitcoin Jesus turning his back on the 'original' because of the unpleasant direction he felt it was going, and then warring over block size and what has to have been personality disputes because no one has been able to remain in business or partnership with CSW without bridges being burned. But, the willingness to cause harm to the future of crypto, in the name of the future of crypto, was very narrow in focus, in my opinion. In practice, I actually think Bitcoin Cash seems to be a solid project. I wouldn't be afraid to use it as cash, and I wouldn't be afraid to trade it, HODL it and other. But, at the end of the day it would hold a lot more legitimacy if it were not attempting to hold the domains that clearly make people think they are on the 'other' Bitcoin, and by that I mean the one with $800B - $2T of volume, a market price of $40K+... there's a reason the 'real' Bitcoin still is Bitcoin. And... I'm not looking to start a feud- really I'm not. So, I felt it was appropriate to make my first (hopefully not last) article here about the appropriate title, regarding Bitcoin Cash. Richard Heart may have been right that an apt title would have been BCash, but the greatest asset fueling the "we're the real..." orange-pilling, is the marketing juice that comes from owning the domain names for the most important crypto... just not quite the right crypto. And on that note... a first on platform from Crypto Gordon Freeman, the free man, for now... out.
