My Photography Mu Ko Ang Thong, Surat Thani, Thailand A storm moving over Ang Thong Marine Park in Surat Thani province in southern Thailand. It's been shot on the ferry from Donsak to Koh Phangan on the East coast. This is where my diving job you can read about in other articles such as this one took me. A funny fact is that these are the islands that inspired Alex Garland when he wrote the now-famous novel The Beach. The story takes place on one of these islands but the movie with Leonardo DiCaprio it has been filmed on Ao Maya in Koh Phi Phi Leh Marine Park on the west coast of Thailand.
