One thing I always loved about Thailand was to visit temples in every town I went to. They never spare any efforts for their temples. It's something they are very proud of. This lead to beautiful buildings and decorations. Like this photo I took of a door at Wat Tham Bucha, Surat Thani.

  I can't remember exactly if I have ever known as it might have been all in Thai. But normally it says when the temple has been built and/or restored. They also give information about the monk who founded the temple.
