My username in both read.cash and noise.cash is “@CrazyRichFilipina". In my first ever published article: Let's be friends!, I explained there the meaning behind my username. My username is inspired by the famous movie "Crazy Rich Asians". Crazy, because I am sometimes, especially with friends. Rich, because I have a rich and abundant mindset which I believe is the key to financial freedom. And Filipina, because I am a full-blooded Filipina.
But fellow users from time to time assume that I am rich in real life just because of my username, which I find funny and hilarious. And in my mind, I mostly just say, “I really do hope that I’m actually a Crazy Rich Filipina”. Hahaha. 🤣
But the topic of today’s article is not me who’s a FAKE Crazy Rich Filipina.
We are going to talk about the REAL Crazy Rich Filipina. And that is none other than Love Marie Escudero, known as “Heart Evangelista”.
Disclaimer: The things I will share here are mostly based on the internet and some knowledge that I knew from her through her YouTube channel (because I love to watch her videos from time to time).

Brief description of her... Heart Evangelista is a painter/artist, actress, activist, entrepreneur, and sophisticated woman of class.
Why Heart Evangelista is a Certified Crazy Rich Filipina?
1. She has an astonishing amount of Hermes collection.
Hermes bags, wallpaper, plates, scarves, and even beddings. Heart has them!
She is actually a proud owner of the coveted Himalayan Birkin bag that's worth thousands of dollars—the most expensive one yet was sold for $380,000. She is known to be a collector of the luxury brand and she also spends time with Michael Coste, the Hermes executive, whenever she's in Paris.
2. Her wardrobe is not a typical one.
This YouTube video her is one of her most popular videos and several YouTubers have also reacted to this. Well, it is because every corner is Instagram-worthy and the interior can be compared to a luxury store. Before entering here, you'll be greeted with a staircase lined with frames Hermes scarves and an electronic lock.
She has a lot of luxury bags, designer clothes, and everything luxury in it!
3. She can make everything look expensive.
She has videos thathaves become viral. Some of them are she eating Chanel logo fries, pancit canton,and coca-cola.
She makes an effort to make them look like a high-end gourmet-looking Instagram photo. Indeed, she can make everything and anything look like a million pesos or more.
4. Her pet dog Panda wears designer accessories.
Panda, as far as I know, is an adopted aspin or asong pinoy and it’s her favorite pet dog. Heart gives the same luxury treatment to her fur babies. Panda wears Hermes and other luxury brands that Heart also has. What a great fur parent!
5. She’s been featured on international fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.
She has become a part of Vogue 100. And when the “Crazy Rich Asians” film was released, she became known and later on become a favorite contributor and subject of Harper’s Bazaar.
6. She’s the face of luxury fashion brands.
Her style influence has definitely gone global. She has worked with Louis Vuitton, Dior, Burberry, and other luxury brands. The list goes on...
7. She can travel to luxury destinations on a whim.
A trip to exclusive resorts or getaways like Balesin, Amanpulo, and so on are no big deal for Heart.
I bet she has a private jet to get her from one point to another.
You would also see her in front row seat at international fashion weeks, a trip to Sorsogon for her online shop Maison Love Marie, or travel anywhere in the world with a style.
8. She has a massive jewelry collection.
Heart loves to invest in fine jewelry. She has diamond-paved Cartier love bracelets worth roughly P2,000,000 each and her massive heart-shaped diamond ring. Also a collection of Van Clear & Arpels rings.
She always wears designer bling. In one of her vlogs, as far as I can remember it’s a question-and-answer vlog, someone asks her if she sleeps with jewelry on. She answered yes and said she also took a bath with jewelry on.
She also owns a pair of Versace hair clips that costs P7,000 each.
9. She does a lot of charity work.
Charity work is on Heart’s heart. She constantly interacts with people. Paying for hospital bills and tuition fees. She’s also known to give out relief goods whenever there is crisis such as typhoons. Her brand "Maison Love Marie" actually helps local artisans from Sorsogon.
Fur babies have such a special place in Heart’s heart. As she gives or donates to NGOs for pets or somthing like that.
I also remember that she gave tablets during the pandemic for the students who have online classes.
10. She’s an Ongpauco.
A lot of people question how Heart affords her lavish lifestyle, one of the answers is that she is an Ongpauco.
Her family owns the Barrio Fiesta chain of restaurants and has been a prominent player in the food industry since 1965.
Heart comes from a rich family already. According to her vlogs, they grew up in America and they have a family business.
Though her family like to keep themselves lowkey (just like other true crazy rich asians who’d like to stay out of news), Heart’s showbiz path makes her an exception. She’s an actress after all.
Other than the family’s wealth and collection, Heart has been able to pay for her own fashion splurges through her paintings, multiple endorsement deals, and her acting career.
Some people think that she’s rich because of her politician husband, Chiz Escudero, but they actually have a pre-nuptial agreement where both of them don’t touch one another’s money.
Out of context but I also hate it when Filipino people bash her because she don't have any kids and call her rude words like ‘baog’. As if the only role of a woman is to have a child. Poor pinoy mindset. Kairita.
