Nowadays, almost everyone already knew what's the meaning of Social Media applications and their uses. It can be very helpful in terms of communicating or connecting with people around the world, and it can also be as harmful because it can lead the user to have a social media addiction and other cons.
For this article, I am going to share the different social media apps or sites that I have tried already and am still using. Some of them, I do use regularly while for some, I just open rarely.
Let's begin...
Facebook is the very first social media that I have. I guess almost all people do.
It is the most used social media among the rest. As far as I've known, it has a billion users around the world.
Why did I have Facebook? My very first Facebook account was created by my eldest sibling. I had it when I was a kid. And my only purpose for it back then was games! A lot of games like Tetris Battle, Sims, Farm Ville, Pet Society, and so on.
But as time went on, from when I was in Grade 4 up until Grade 5, my Facebook is mostly used for fangirl stuff over KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla). Then when I stepped into Grade 6, my Facebook was mostly used for fangirling over KPOP artists such as EXO and 2NE1. I still use it for games from time to time and of course, for chatting with people.
Then, as I became more mature around Grade 9, I just usually use my Facebook for personal and academic use like chatting and connecting with people. And for online business as well.
This is one of my most-used social media apps for years now.
I created it back when I was still in high school for fangirl purposes for EXO. Hahaha. Later on, I just use it for personal stuff. I follow close friends, acquaintances, and inspiring people here. Same with Facebook, I also use this for online business.

This is also one of my most used social media apps along with Instagram. But recently, I am trying to minimize using it. I created this as well for the sake of fangirling stuff way back when I was in Grade 6 or 7.
Now, I use it for getting news (locally and globally) because Twitter is probably the social media that delivers super-fast information (at least in my opinion). I also mostly use it for fangirling, and for personal as well.
I deactivate my Twitter from time to time though because it often makes me feel drain. I guess because there's just too much words and information there. Also because it is a social media platform wherein most people post rants, and many fanwars happen there as well.
In conclusion, Twitter can mess up the mental health. But still depends on the user.
noise.cash

noise.cash is the only social media earning platform that I know and that I have. So cool! In my first few months creating it, it was probably one of my frequently used social media apps. But nowadays, it's not anymore. I don't feel like sharing too much of my day there anymore.
Also because, I prefer the older system so much. The one where a user could earn through likes, and not tips. That's just my opinion and my preference. I understand if some users won't agree with me.
I love this so much because of the aesthetic photos! Most of the photos that I use in my thumbnails are from Pinterest.
Tumblr
I use this very rarely. But back then, I open my Tumblr from time to time.
Anyways, for those who are not familiar with this, Tumblr is basically like your own personalized blog site. It's cool because you can literally customize your own blog site. And if you know how to code, you will probably enjoy this.
Closing Thought
The other ones that I have are Reddit, YouTube, Snapchat, etc. But I don't consider that as social media that much because there's no much socializing for me. Haha. If you get what I mean. Like in YouTube, it is more of just like a streaming platform for me. And when it comes to Snapchat, I just use it for camera filters. Haha.
