**So this Meet the Artist is a special one as its not just one artist is both artist from Tachitachi13 if you dnt know them they are specialists in Japanese NFT universe so let introduce them Dali and Maxi so let jump in** **Dali** :We re super excited to get featured ❤ And also thanks for considering us **Its my pleasure** **Dali** : We re a pretty small and unknown presence 😁😁😁😁 **Maxi:** hello there **Dali :**Meet maxi, the other half of tachi^^ **Maxi**: hello, how are you I am Maximillian, nice to meet you 😜 **Hi and welcome thank you both for your time how are you both today ?** **Dali** : Struggling in the rat race ahajahah **Aren't we all lol** **Maxi :** Got some work today, and after I want to make an illustration for our puzzle we make a puzzle for our community, and if they resolve it, they will win a 1/1 red oni's hologram the first one who resolve it :)) ***

**And how long does it normally take for the community to solve the puzzle ?** **Dali** : This is gonna be a longer one😊😊😊 **Maxi** : we hope at least, I think I make it pretty easy **And red oni's reminds me of samurai jack**

And it kind of just happened 😊 **Maxi** : like Dali is an art director, and i am just a graphic designer, and i was into a project and need a feedback for a person with more experience and that common friend recommended Dali . And after i show my work , we start to chat and bee friends so after some time I discover the NFT and tell Dali about that **So how long do you know each other ?** **Maxi** :1 year I think **Dali** :I think it might be less than a year ahahah . But there are some people you just click with **Total agree** **And when did you's decide to jump into NFT design ?** **Dali** : A major + point for me was the anonymity . I've always loved drawing, but kind of kept it to myself and some close friends . And this kind of offered the opportunity to put my art out without any fear and yes, it shouldn't make sense, it s a very emotional based decision And I also never collaborated with anyone on my drawings and that seemed like a lot of fun. You never know what you re gonna end up from a clash of different artistic approaches 😊😊😊 Oh, saw it now, you asked when, not why, ahahaha **Ha ha** **Dali :** Guess it was about a month and a half ago? I was very happy when i see that our art can change the world somehow, for that 55 people, we make their day better and somehow that feeling make me to draw more and more haha **Dali** : ❤ **Thederpycat is brilliant** And we re working on two more but we re keeping them as a surprise 😊😊😊 **Maxi** : 😁😁😁 **Any hints at all ?** **Dali** : One of them is very close to our theme n style The other is completely different 😁😁😁 In terms of aesthetic, theme, approach, everything . **Dali can I ask how do you feel being female in the NFT world as a few artist who are female hide that fact and some are very proud ?** **Dali** :Tbh, I don t feel like much being a female in the NFT world 😊😊😊 I feel like an artist, just like other artists. I respect others gender identity but to me, we re all people and should be proud of who we are, irregardless of gender, nationality and so on **Totally agree I dnt think NFT fans see gender they see artists I do know some artist hide there gender** **Maxi** :My opinion about this is that the female are more creative than us, I have moments when I get stuck and Dali unstuck me in like 1 minute 😜 **Dali** : Comes with experience mostly and it s easier to see things if you re not involved with them **Maxi** : You right **That's what is great about working in a team when u get stuck you can bring in fresh eyes to give there opinion** **Dali** : Yeah **So what do you's do for a day job ?** **Dali** :I m an art director . Work in advertising **Any ads I might know ?** **Dali** : You might, but I have a very very strict NDA **That's fair enough** **Maxi** : I quit my job to make NFT's, and I give it all to my art 😁😁😁😁😁 **So what's your inspiration for your NFT's ?** Dali :We both like japan and we know that everyone loves anime . We also do:)))) But we kind of wanted to show something else too so we dug a lil bit deeper into the art and folklore **Maxi** : We try to make mythological base art **I have to say japan culture is quite interesting and I do like some anime I think the first anime I seen was ghost in the shell** **Maxi** : And we read a lot about it, about creatures and gods . Mine was dragon ball z **Dali** : Anime s on a completely different level **Maxi** :or how my mother calls it "son goku" **Dali** : 😁😁😁😁😁 **Ha ha . I think gods and creatures are very interesting and is such a big area** **Dali :** Yeah, we re a small niche, buuuut there are so many things we could showcase and that's what we re planning on doing **I don't think its a niche you would be surprised how many people who enjoy japan and its culture I also think your work is brilliant so even if people dnt like anime I think your work stands out for its self** **Dali** : Aww, thanks. We've put a lot of work in it and a lot of soul, also And it s really fun to work in a team . Besides the mix of style and taste, it s also about knowing that there s always someone who s gonna have your back and that s a great feeling **Can I ask how long for thought to finished NFT does it take ?** **Dali** : Depends to me, the line art takes the most time, until you get it just right, you know and then there s coloring and shading and backgrounds and animation But it's good we split the process between the two of us . So that it fits our skills in the best way possible I d say overall about a week per piece . Like a finished piece with animation and all **Wow that long and who normally has the final say lol** **Maxi :** The Red oni NFT's took us 2 week to made **It was worth it** **Maxi** **:**❤️ **Dali :** Well, you also have to take into consideration the fact that I get to work on them just at nights I am not doing good on the free time spectrum ahahahah We both have the final say . We've yet to experience a situation where we can t decide on smth we both like . Guess it s bound to happen at some point, but I m confident we ll figure it out:))) **What's free time I have 2 kids work shift and try do meet the artists articles as much as I can lol** **Dali :** Yeah . Free time= time you re supposed to spend sleeping at this point Ahahahah **Sleep what's that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!** **Dali :** Sleep is a lie **You sleep enough when you die** **So Maxi is this your main job ?** **Maxi :** Yea, something like that somehow tachi works almost 24h per day cuz I work on it by morning to night and in night Dali is on them **Wow so you have 24 hour interaction with fans** **Maxi :** Almost **Dali :** We try to at least **Maxi :** I think is a gap of 4 of 5 hours **Dali :😁😁😁** And that's when we sleep ahahahaha . The group has people from all over the world, it s really fun to get a good morning message when here s like 4am **Ah the random 4am message lol**

**So do you's have website for all your work ?** **Dali :** In progress . We re working on the website and the Instagram page **Maxi :** So I think it will take some times cuz we don't know how to do it exactly so I need to learn first **Well at least you can reach out to the community ask for help .** **Oh really I find a lot of artist prefer telegram and twitter for chatting to fans and some are slowly making sites as well** **Dali :**Well, telegram is super direct . If anyone has any sorts of questions, they can just write there one of us will surely answer. **So much easier** **Dali :** But so far people have been chatting to us on twitter too . It s a great way to discover your peers . Was very scared of it in the beginning **That's how I discover most of the NFT artist through other artist** **Dali :** Twitters the least used social media platform in our country **In Romania twitter isn't that big ?** **Dali :** Oh yes, we have no doubts. People have taught us a lot of things in just a month and a half .The amount of support feels surreal **Its great I love asking the community for artist to chat to and I will always get a new artist I haven't seen before** **Dali :** I was expecting some sort of every man for himself approach and felt extremely delighted to find a community that would help, no questions asked **I know I think everyone helping each other helps the community grow** **Dali :** It feels like were in this together and tbh I haven't found this kind of support anywhere else so far . It's just amazing and still feels unbelievable Yeah, and to the root of it . Art is something so very subjective . So when someone lifts you up it feels like you're on top on the world . We re trying to do the same for others and hope we re doing at least at it decent job **So are you's artist or do you collect as well ?** **Maxi :** We all so collect and show support to other artist one of our favorite Stocci studio, he is a great artist, and a very nice man . We're artists, but we want to collect in the near future too because we've seen a lot of things we like and we also want to support other artists **Dali :** Right now we just have a few pieces from other artists **Stocci is a great artist I chatted to him a few weeks ago** **Dali :** Yes, love that minimalist style and his brushwork is top **Maxi :** Yep, another artist that we like is koncepton he makes anime style art and I really like their puzzle **So what would be favorite NFT you own at the moment ?** **Maxi :** I like this very much

**Dali :** And it's the story you make in your head, based on your experience and what that piece resonates with from your experience Gonna look it up, thanks for that **No problem I was chatting to him last week he is a French artist** **Dali :** I m making some coffee, do any of you guys want some, ahahahah **Thanks but IL take tea if its going lol** **Dali :** Sure, I have black, white, coconut, jasmine, Indian, you name it. I love tea **Maxi :** Never drink coconut tea **Oh god coconut tea that's just just wrong .** **I live on tea** **Dali :** It s lavender and coconut and it s blue and smells SO GOOD **So can I ask have you guys meet face to face yet ?** **Maxi :** No but Dali is one of my best friend **Dali :** Ahaha, same here As I was saying you just happen to click with some people We've been talking non stop since we me and I don't really feel the age gap **Maxi :** We live in diferent cityes for the moment, but I will move to her city soon **Dali :** There s like a 7 year age gap between us **Maxi :** And after that we will spend much time together **Dali :** Ahahaha, that sounds like a threat, bring it on

**Ah that's cool you will have to meet up to celebrate your creations ?** **Maxi :** To celebrate our team and friendship . I think Dali is my first "online" friend **I have gaming friends that I know over 10 years that live in my country and still have never meet up with lol** **Maxi :** Hope we meet soon, we play a lot of games too **So what games you play ?** **Maxi :** We play apex legend, dead by daylight, Minecraft, rocket league, Overwatch and more **I use to play rocket league alot on my ps4** **Maxi :** I am not so good at it **Dali :**Neither am I **Just kind of play a lot of cod on ps5 nowadays** **Maxi :** I play cod too, but Dali doesn't play **Must join up in a lobby sometime !!!!!!!** **So what programs do you's like to use to create ?** **Maxi :** illustrator, procreate, photoshop, after effects, blender 3d **Dali :** Same stuff, sometime also krita, very FREE to use, very nice brushes and now I am also trying my luck with adobe fresco . Seems pretty cool . Maxi does all the 3d part though **Maxi :** And Dali most of the animated part **Really so is everything hand drawn first** **Dali :** Tablet drawn . Yeah, we start from a sketch and then whoever has time does the inking and then we just figure it out who does what depends on time and preference . It s a pretty chill process I d say **So what are you's working on at the moment ?** **Dali :**Another piece for our mythology badge collection . The two collabs . The puzzle we re about to release .The website we have some things to take care of **So you have 4 NFT projects and the website so your busy lol** **Dali :** Yeah, kind of . **Ha ha that is a pretty cup** **Maxi :** yes it is **Dali :**Done by a friend of mine who does lettering trying to get her to join the NFT gang too she has a lot of pretty stuff **So would ever get her to do some of your NFT's on clothing or cups ?** **Dali :** Dunno yet .But it would be so cool if she signed up **Maxi :** I was thinking like making card for real maybe **Dali :** Would def collect her stuff **So at the moment how many sets or collections have you made and how many would you like to create ?** **Maxi :** We have just 1 collection for now but we will do many more **What advice did you have new artists coming into NFT market ?** **Maxi :** To be constant and persevering, not to look for money and to always give back whoever helps them **Dali :** And that they should always follow their intuition with their art . Yeah, trends are fun but the whole point of this . Is that can do literally whatever you want ? **So is your cards only available on Atomichub ?** **Maxi :** Yes, and we will continue publish just on atomic hub https://wax.atomichub.io/explorer/collection/tachitachi13 **Have you looked on other sites ?** **Maxi :** Yes but for us wax is just perfect **That's fair enough are you whitelisted ?** **Maxi :** Yep, we got whitelisted pretty fast **And how about token head ?** **Maxi :** We know about it, and already got some info, but now is not the moment, we are focusing on our community **Of course** **Maxi :** But in the future we will get listed on token head too **So its in the pipeline ?** **Maxi :** Yup, sure it is and maybe we will get there pretty soon . The admins know about us already **So what do for fun when you aren't creating ?** **Maxi :** For me creating is fun **Dali :** I make illustrations for kids Or video games . In the good times before corona, used to hang out with friends too **Maxi :** and playing with my animals 😀😀😀😀 **So do you hold any other crypto bar wax?** **Dali :** I have some BTC but like such a tiny tiny amount **Maxi :** I have ETH and BTC but small amount **So I put my articles out on read.cash do you know ?
