It looks like there will be a Private Sale of Chaos Legion Packs in Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) allowing big spenders who are willing to buy at least 100k dollar worth of packs to get in. This leaves everyone who was looking to get in on the public sale where packs are sold for 4$ without a voucher potentially with a lot less chance to get some of them which sucks. I hope they implement a solution to actually allow the actual players to buy at least some packs. Doing it in a way where everyone who completes their daily quest gets a 23 hour time window to buy a pack (depending on the league they are in) for a fixed period of time or until a certain amount is sold would be nice and satisfy a lot of players. It's going to be interesting how this latest drama is going to play out... They have enough time to find the solution if they want to, the "Active Players sale" would be a great idea if applied. as i am waiting now for the public sale it will be a disaster for me if i won't be able to buy any packs.
The question remains if there are going to be enough packs to make some kind of active player sale last for a long time. The only thing that bugs me is that I have a ton of potions that I would love to use. Aside from that it will be possible to buy cards on the market 'likely at a much cheaper price compared to most older cards who are 15x rarer. For now, I keep selling vouchers and look forward to the next phase where double the amount will be given to SPS stakers. (I actually locked some more SPS that I saved from the airdreop now thinking about it)
Having a lot of potions won't be a problem for me :P i have to get some packs first. Yes i can buy the cards but a 4$ pack with an opportunity of getting something worthy wouldn't be better ! İ don't know about staking i am not holding that good ammount of sps to stake but i think i will stake it and get what ever i can of vouchers. After this presale ends will the vouchers be useful anymore ?
after the initial pre-sale of 1M packs, the drop of vouchers will be doubled. Afterwards I guess vouchers are needed to get bonus packs for bigger purchases. So if you buy 100 packs you get +10 free but will need 10 vouchers for those. Vouchers will also have a usecase in the future. At least that's what I understand. SPS will also get more usecases.
