The Daily Quest System in Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/3twh5c5z) make the game a lot less enjoyable to play almost constantly forcing you to play sub-optimally wanting to just get it over with. 3 potential alternative quests that at least would make my experience more fun could be: - Win 3 Games in a Row - Win 4 Games with Different Summoners - Gain 100 ranking Points All these would allow for playing the game optimally for those that have a balanced collection without having the feeling you are actually forcing yourself onto them. A system where you can get another quest by burning a set amount of DEC would also work quite well. My Quest Rewards yesterday didn't include anything noteworthy. These are very good suggestions. I hope you post them on SPL Discord too. Totally agreed that daily quest for chests usually makes you just finjsh the quest as quick as possible
indeed, it's a difficult combination to have fun and play2earn at the same time. There are always going to be certain requirements or some extreme form of pay2win. It's something I have felt since the start that all the devs their focus is 100% on the economics completely neglecting fun which at some point I believe will. If anything, all prices going to zero and players being able to have a complete collection actually competing against each other would make it a game I would actually play aside from any of the earnings.
The game would be a way better with such quests, sometimes it is very hard to complete the quest with a specific splinter
Yeah, the thing is for me they usually aren't that hard to complete as my collection is pretty balanced. for most starting players who have 1 good deck it's just extremely frustrating. The game should be both fun and play2earn at the same time, not play to earn and hope to get it over with as quickly as possible each day.
