2 Days into the new Reward System in Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5), I'm generally optimistic about it even though I still would like to see some changes being made to improve the quality of life. Another month has passed so time for a news and progress update on Clash Of Streamers (https://tinyurl.com/3twh5c5z). I'm still in full accumulation mode and the window of maximum opportunity is slowly closing as there were some more nerfs last month which indirectly buffed old accounts like crazy. I would say for those that are interested to explore Play2Earn, give it a chance as it is still way too Free2Play friendly right now! I'm also saving up for a full land plot and…
I always look forward to exploring new cards in Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) through the weekly Battle Challenge. This week it is the Venari Knifer which is one of those cards that under very specific rules for sure has its place in the game. There are however many alternatives that tend to be better options which is one of the reasons why a level 6 card only sets you back around 7$ Full Battle Challenge:…
I have really been enjoying the competitiveness in Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) since the Ranked Rewards update to the point where I would recommend the game to myself as a gamer right now aside from the Play2Earn Aspect. The rental market is cheap and skill actually is a big factor without the requirement for a big investment. It is always a game of Cat & Mouse in Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) between devs wanting the game to be played in a certain way and Players that try to find the best way to extract as much value with as little investment as possible. Right now the ones that are trying to extract value have a massive exploit available as it's really easy to get a ton of reward chests in Bronze with absolute minimum investment. If this isn't fixed by next season, expect an army…
I didn't actually use the Garagoya Scrapper for the Battle Challenge for Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) this week as ranked play simply doesn't allow sub-optimal play. Instead I used 2 other 1-mana cards outplaying my opponent in what was a very fun battle. Since the ranked reward update, the enjoyment I have gotten from playing the game is just day and night. Many of the past battle challenges just resulted in pay2win wins or defeats without skill having any…
It looks like Clash of Streamers will be rebranding to Moblie Minigames : Play & Earn (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) which much better explains the game to potential new players. Soon Advertisements will be pumped again to increase the current 40k+ daily active players. The crypto Land Expansion is set to release at the end of July the soonest so there is still plenty of time to get started in order to get a free Plot assigned to you.…
I started buying some of the reward cards which are really getting cheap at 0.0$ for commons / 0.03 for rares / 0.14$ for Epics / 0.94$ for Legendaries. I also did this to some regard in the previous cycle with the older reward cards before they were fully printed and this resulted in really good returns. Plenty of reasons for it to make sense to pick some of them up now waiting a couple of years while potentially getting some passive returns from them during Full Arguments…
Is it just me or has the time required to play Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) each day in order to get a fair share based on your collection and investment gone exponential? While the fun increased a lot, the obligate playtime to properly grind down your capture rate easily has gone up to 1 hour not even counting rentals, brawls, tournaments, ... I hope they fix this and put up some potential solutions as I can't see more mainstream adoption like this. One…
The Weekly Battle Challenge in Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) these days is less about playing the actual card that is featured but more about showing better alternatives as the game is just too competitive to play sub-optimally. Instead of the Silent Sha-Vi as Melee Sneak card, I played the combination of the Silvershield Assassin combined with the Dhalpir Infiltrator which are able each round to do a maximum of 14 damage each round over 5 different hits…
I accelerated my buying of Chaos Legion Cards to build my collection exclusively reinvesting earnings from the game that come from Ranked Rewards, Rental Earnings, Affiliat Earnings, Blogging Earnings, Taking Profit on older cards. The fact right now is that supply is bigger than the demand which is pushing prices down to levels that feel quite low and affordable. I'm quite confident that at some point the demand will flip the supply again and push up the value of cards even…
The way Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) is designed is that you pretty much need an entirely different card collection for low-mana and high-mana battles. Accumulating the highest mana cards is needed to stay competitive which made me pick up the Carnage Titan legendary cards at level 3 where it gets shield making it really powerful Dragons Battle Challenge this week: https://hive.blog/hive-102223/@costanza/splinterlands-or-dragons-challenge-00hjoa
