One of my main frustrations with Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) is the extreme Pay2Win aspect which makes every won match feel like you just had better cards and every lost match feel like the opponent just had better cards. I hope one day they will add a mode leveling the entire playing field where every win actually feels like a victory. Back to handicapping the Belgian League after the winter break. The next couple of weeks will have very tricky conditions with many players missing who are playing in the Afrika Cup and South-American qualifiers. The home team needs the points while Beerschot who lost their last 5 matches without scoring a goal and getting 2.5 goals against on average. It was one of those weeks in betting where pretty much everything went wrong with the betting action. It's part of the game and at times like this, it's nice to have a long-term chart to zoom out on. Another Battle Challenge completed in Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5), this was the first time a Chaos Legion card was highlighted. The Shadow Snitch is not really a powerful card and Splinterlands remains one on the most extreme pay2win gaming experiences. The game in the battle challenge was another good showcase of that. I randomly decided to buy 2 packs in Splinterlands (https://tinyurl.com/523j22e5) waiting for cards (mostly summoners) to get cheaper on the market to buy them there. I got a Tarsa summoner in my first pack and a Golden Obsidian Summoner (40$) in my second alongside another summoner, Common Gold and an Epic card. Packs don't get much better than that :-) With Packs becoming part of the Chest Rewards, I do expect somewhat cheaper card prices on the market as many bot accounts…
