Splinterlands is currently giving out rather high DEC rewards for winning battles in ranked mode. The system is designed to give out more at times when fewer players are online and give out less when more players are active. One of the advantages of completing the Splinterlands Quests consistently on a daily basis over a longer period of time is that you stack a lot of 'worthless' potions. If you build a balanced card collection staying in a league where you are actually competitive, completing the daily quest (even on 2 accounts at the same time) literally only takes 5-10 minutes daily. Make that 5 out of 5 days getting solid rewards from the daily quests. Another chest with 985 DEC in it, getting 14 chests each day obviously helps to get lucky. With DEC now trading at a crazy price of 5x the value of the peg, I sold the 2727 DEC earned the past day for 43.6 HIVE (13.147$) making use of the current high prices. Anderlecht is likely to remain a tricky team this year. They should have a solid defense and a great mentality brought by coach Kompany but at the same time have a lack in pure player quality and they currently don't really have a striker. Union might become one of the revelations this season but it remains to be seen how defensive of an approach Mazzu will have. I didn't take any bets in this match (yet)

This time, I got another Ancient Lich Legendary Card (13$) which was the 5th one of this card I managed to collect since it started to be part of the reward cards. 68.82% of them have been printed already so I do have a good shot at being able to get a Level 3 by combining 6 of them at some point. I managed to get the rewards I hoped for out of the 90 Ranked End-Of-Season Splinterlands Loot Chests. 1 Legendary Card (Spirit Druid Grog 15$) & a Chest which included 2000 DEC (10$). All the other rewards also certainly add up. There are still 2+ months to go before the Chaos Legion expansion is released which will give a cheaper entry. Until that point, most cards & in-game assets should continue to trade at quite a higher price so make use of it for as long as it lasts!
