Reminiscing college days… During my first week as a practice teacher , I was very excited. We were assigned to different year levels after the short briefing from the principal. I feel nervous meeting my critic teacher because I was thinking already that what if I couldn’t make the things he wanted me to do? Getting to know him made me feel at ease because of the way he treated me. He instructed me on how to do the things that a teacher should always do. Honestly, I was pressured, yet dedicated to do it because of my dream to become a professional teacher someday. Time management was the first thing that I did to accomplish all of my tasks. The best thing that happened to my first week of duty was giving words of wisdom from my critique teacher. I have learned from him that it is not about how fluent you are in speaking English, but it is about how you kindle the mind of each learner in a classroom. Missing those days ...
