BTW, how is the mining hardware becoming more cheap and faster? Just technology upgrades which comes by time?

New miners or new mining hardware gets bought regularly. The new ones are faster than the ones from a year ago. In mining the most important is the speed you get for a certain amount of electricity, because mining costs electricity and the speed gives you pay in Bitcoin Cash.
