Today I Wrote A Second-Hand Poem
**Today I wrote a second-hand poem.** Which is to say, I think it has all been said before. And at the same time, it has not been said enough. I read the newspaper and still see the same news. (I think it has all been said before). There is part of me that sees love in the world. People pick it up but keep putting it down in all the wrong places. Part of me longs to tap a stranger on the shoulder, tell them they left their humanity on the train on the way to work as though it were loose change. But instead, I pick it up. Put it down in all the wrong places. Like a second-hand poem. Which is to say, I think it has all been said before. It has all been said before, but nothing has been done. ✒ Clint Bling, The Mighty Pen #TouchAheartImpactOnItPositively ©ClintBlingPoetry2020
