Do you ever fall in love with a fictional character ? I did.

Why do we start loving a fictional character ? even though we know that he/she is not real. We human consider it as a different type of **xuality and sometimes it crosses the limits. We will talk all about that. But first we have to know what is the infamous reason of why we love a fictional character ?

We know Superman is not real but his Body and Physiology is so attractive that anyone can have feelings for him.

And i am not talking about Henry Cavil but Superman in comics also has this type of physiology ❤️

Same thing applies on Maleficent Mistress. We know she is a villainous Character but I'm ready to take risk. Look at her. How beautiful she is❤️. I'm ready to die with her hand.

The reason we humans develop feelings like this because we put Alief above Belief. We all know what belief is. Having trust, faith or confidence about something to be true. Belief is actually acceptance of something to be true, even though we didn't see that thing in real. For example for real, no one have seen a black hole but still we believe it to be true.

Alief is opposite of belief. In philosophy and psychology, alief is automatic or habitual faith-like attitude. specially one that is in tension with a person's explicit beliefs. And sometime we offend real belief in order to accept alief as true. This thing needs not to be necessary that these feelings are always wrong for a rational being that "i am always right" or "I'm never afraid". For example while watching a horror movie we know nothing will happen to us but we get scared on jumpscares. We think that this creature will kill me by coming out from tv.

Yes, alief happens automatically. We cant control these feelings.

Enough of these technicalities, lets talk about another reason. And that is

It feels like real life

Now as world's cinema started connecting real life scenarios so we feel attachment to the character because everyone has real life fantasies. As characters in movies or comics are always in a perfect physiology, they are humourous, smart, futuristic and in the end they are good too. So it is obvious to fall in love with them. An ideal personality. A dream fellas. Literally anyone can be ready to get married with them.

Same thing applies on villains too. Their villainess is so amazing that we start liking them. For example "Hela" from "Thor Ragnarok". We know she is evil. But we like her evilness.

Almost all of us like JOKER. Do you ever ask yourself why ?

Because of his evilness. And that the reason. Not for their physical appearance but we love them for their character. And it doesn't depend on that how much the character is good or bad.

Like if you want someone to understand pain, you should have him to feel the pain. Similarly it is so difficult for someone to understand love, until he/she fall in love. Why we get emotional in the ending of movies like "Toy Story" or "Coco"? Because we love our family and our childhood. These are so beautiful feelings which we can only feel.

Getting developed this type of feelings are normal these days. Science consider this type of attraction as a new type of **xuality known as "Fictic-**xual" or "Ficto-**xual" which means "Exclusive attraction towards Fictional Character"

Having romantic feelings with fictional character is not wrong until or unless you cross the limits. And I think everyone know the limits.

Do you have crush on any fictional character? Let me know in the comments. Stay Blessed.

Well, When it comes to characters of the gender we're attracted to, we like the characteristics we would like in our real-life potential mates, but when we liked characters of the same gender as us we usually like some quality they have we would like to have too... For instance, the Joker it's the quality of being confident and just never caring. He doesn't give a crap, and that's something most of us wanted to do more. As for fictional crushes, I have TONS of them!

Personally, I'm not a avid fan of movies. But I love K-Pop artist because I find them attractive. They are also fictional character that we can only see at television or in music industry. Just like you said, loving them have limits.

By the way, loving fictional character is normal. I have a lot of classmates who is an avid fan of anime characters and fictional characters in Wattpad written by their favorite authors.
