It was my first day out of Canada into Alaska. I came upon this beautiful lake and saw some swans with babies. Then there was this juvenile bald eagle sitting in a dead tree, so I walked to the edge of the lake to get a better photograph. As I was snapping photos of the bald eagle, all of a sudden, I heard a splash in the lake and heard three recognizable huffs that I was told the grizzlies make to warn you that you’re too close for comfort. I didn’t hesitate. I darted for my car and jumped inside real fast. I actually sat there in my car looking down the path for over a half an hour waiting to see the bear But never did.

Your snaps are just wow. And the eagle picture is wonderful one. Because I can not capture birds pictures as they flew away before capturing.
Thanks I do love doing so.
A close encounter with a grizzly bear .. I'm scared at the very thought. Great your photos, as always!
