Happy #Caturday I was bushing Miss Piggy and guess who rushes over and squeezes in to try to get himself brushed Mr. Fluffy. Miss Piggy is always kind of wet from drooling all over herself all the time I think it's because she has a few teeth missing in the front and her tongue sticks out all the time so the brushing kind of drys her out. lol.
Happy #Caturday Tuesday I want to St. Augustine lighthouse and they have the story of the little cat smoky and how the caretaker son was always making paper airplanes in just recently he seen a movie where they were parachuting from planes Read about smoky and his story at this website http://elinordewire.blogspot.com/2017/10/a-flying-lighthouse-cat.html?m=1

Catching this beautiful Red shouldered hawk sunning itself in The morning sun. This is his favorite spot to sit in this big oak tree sometimes in the morning I can hear him screaming out there from my bedroom window telling me it's time get up.
Cats can be so entertaining Miss piggy was laying on the Bing bag chair and I decided to give her a brushing and here comes Fluffy he climbs up and lays on top of her Wanting the same treatment. https://youtube.com/shorts/FCOmXzY-km0?feature=share
Had a memory pop up from six years ago it’s a beautiful cattle egret they are not native to North America but over the years they migrated here from South Africa and South America that’s what I read about them anyway.
Have you ever have one of them mornings that you just have no Energy well it seem I'm not the only one my mothers dog Bella is feeling it also. It's my day off and Bella and I decided just to chill and doing nothing.
I was looking back at Mr. Fluffy, found a picture of him when he was a kitten, and also noticed that since then, he loves to have his chin scratched. I need to start looking for a place to take my workplace Cats with me when I retire From this job.
It's going to be a warm day here in North Central Florida caught the sunrise this morning it's 76°F or 24.4°C going up 88°F tomorrow we have a 90% chance of rain coming in of course it would happen on my day off.
I can’t believe that one of my resident tortoises was roaming around today. Feeding then, suddenly, I look over, and he is in my fenced-off area mowing down my sunflowers, not eating them. just walking over them, so I had to take him out of there, and what happens? He comes right back and tries to break in again. Now I have reinforced the little fence I had around them; hopefully, that will work.
The last two years I have made my Journey to Alaska in September this year I'm going back to the first of July back to all the green and wildflowers I do like September with all the leaves changing color of gold and yellow. This photograph was shot up on Hatcher pass by Summit Lake. The Second photograph is during July and everything is much greener and wildflowers are pretty much everywhere.
Came over my Mom's to take Bella out for a walk came back in and she wanna crawl up in the chair with me and she went right back to sleep.
Another look at some of my photographs from passed trips to Alaska I'm getting excited about my up coming adventure to my favorite place to visit. It’s not #Caturday actually where I work with my cats it’s Caturday everyday here’s a few photos from yesterday. Every so often I have to take a walk around the compound and make sure that there’s no messes that may need to be cleaned up or things that shouldn’t have been thrown in places they don’t supposed to be this always gives Miss piggy Halftail a chance to follow me around and make sure I’m doing my job correctly. lol and of course Halftale begging to go for a walk .
We had a beautiful sunrise this morning a little chilly like 43°F But it’s such a lovely day it’s 73°F with a slight breeze making it perfect for sitting underneath the tree here at work.
It’s #RedMonday here me on my brother-in-law‘s red grizzly ATV having fun at Jim’s Creek Alaska it has to a favorite of mine to ride at. At the very end of knik river is the Knik glacier I guarantee we will be out there riding Jim’s Creek come Fourth of July.
Well like the old platform we had a #TurtleTuesday as it warms up here in Florida the tortoises start roaming more often in a chorus one of their favorite places to visit me is under the loquat trees to pick up the fallen fruit. This Tortoise is a new resident only the second maybe third time I’ve seen this one he is a younger tortoise smaller than the other two what amazes me after going on five years of being at this location I still have not seen a baby tortoise but there…
This morning I walked over to my moms place to take out Bella and as I was walking over there I noticed we had a Mississippi kite sitting up on the perch where they usually they’re red shoulder hawk sits. Forest wildflowers I photographed when I took a little walk in the forest at worked the other day and the others are from the garden I planted. I'm so impatient waiting for the sunflowers I planted to get big enough to start producing flowers it will happen and the butterflies will start to show up.
I went for a hike this morning before it got to warm and was lucky enough to photograph a new bird to me it's a Northern Parula in the 2nd photo it's Enjoying a spider. Northern Parula Setophaga americana This small warbler is often hard to see as it forages in dense foliage of the treetops. However, it is easy to hear; the male seems to repeat his buzzy trickle-up song constantly from early spring through mid-summer at least. Northern Parulas hide their nests inside hanging…
Prayer request I'm having one of them mornings when your mom awakened me that she’s asking me to call 911 for her because she was in terrible pain from a bit accident she had another day. I took her to urgent care yesterday to have x-rays. They gave her pain medication and said she was just bruised up, but this morning, she couldn’t get out of bed, so I walked over to her house to check on her ended up calling 911; they took her to the hospital they ever have a complete…
Back to work this morning and I'm seeing butterflies more and more often I did photographed this common Buckeye next to the trash compactor. What I'm always amazed at butterflies of different kinds are attracted to the nasty water that comes out of the compactors why would this be maybe it’s the kind of mineral come out of it. Yuck
More photographs from my hike from Tuesday seen a variety of nature from birds to foxsquirrels to wildflowers the Fox squirrels are beautiful and big they didn’t stick around long so I didn’t get a real good photograph. from the summer tanger‘s to the Northern Parula
Happy #Caturday This week with the Cat Clan of South Forest Halftale was very proud of himself last Monday morning he caught a rat and was so happy on what he did he was throwing it around like a toy in doing so he almost hit me in the face with the rat. lol. Good Morning and I was surprised by my Brother this morning he made me breakfast before heading to work. Has someone surprised you lately with a breakfast or meal that you weren’t expecting. Thank you Perry it was delicious two eggs a few strips of bacon and grits not a whole lot of people know what grits are in other parts of the world but they are delicious with a little Butter and salt. Have a blessed resurrection day.
Unfortunately I’m always working on Sundays so I cannot make it to church so I did watch church online this morning. I Read this from my daily bread and thought I would share it with everybody this morning on this Resurrection day. 1 CORINTHIANS 15:12-26 Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. [1 CORINTHIANS 15:20 ] SUNDAY | APRIL 17 THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING aroslav Pelikan, longtime Yale professor considered one of "his…

I'm having a day that I am feeling helpless my mother came home from the hospital last night but I had to work today and she is by herself which is not a good thing having three fractured ribs she can’t get around as good as she was before she did so,and then she wasn’t getting around really well at that time either. what made me feel a little better a couple of neighbors in the park came over and made her a sandwich and took out Bella her dog. We working on getting her…
Well I have 35 minutes before I head home and start my three day weekend so I thought I’d give Mr. T the tortoise a call because we need a little bit of grass maintenance done. Lol I'm sad to say 15 minutes after posting Mr. T was hit by a car not killed but injured I don’t know how bad but I’ll keep you updated on his condition.
I had a busy morning getting rid of somethings because the RV park manager kind of frowns on too much clutter around your home. So I loaded my trailer this morning around 5 AM as soon as it was light enough headed out to the place I work I check on Mr. T the tortoise the one that was hit by car yesterday fed the cats water the plants and got rid of the stuff I need to get rid of made it home so I’m having brunch hamburger patty cheddar cheese and egg on top it's was…

The American Red Admiral I keep getting these beautiful butterflies hanging around the garbage compactor more than they are around my flowers that are starting to bloom. If you were strolling through your park or through your garden in my case around the trash compactor the chances are you will encounter the Red Admiral butterfly. They are considered one of the most abundant butterflies across North America and the world so your chances are very good that you have seen this…
Well I just made it back from my hike I did see a few wildflowers that I didn’t see last time I was out there and three different butterflies and of course the same usual birds nothing new. Once I download the photographs from my camera I will post them.
More nature from my hike this Morning I seen a passion flowers and cactus were blooming also I was surprised there wasn’t more butterflies maybe that was due to the plant still being wet from the morning dew. And there were birds but I wanted to photograph new birds that I have not seen before but that was not the case just had this Northern Parula giving me flybys so close to my head I could feel it’s breeze. 😂
From todays hike a close up of this Pipevine Swallowtail A Beauty of north central Florida. I’m looking on getting a good Macro lens does anybody have any good suggestions out there in noise land?
One of my Brothers hanging plants just started blooming I didn’t really notice it until last night when I came back to my moms. Heading out for my walk over at Silver Spring State Park in a few minutes lots of lovely gardens over there in giant bald Cypress trees.
This park that is across the street from where I live was so nice this morning seen a few manatees on my walk around Silver Springs State Park they doing a lot of remodeling which the State of Florida is putting a lot of money into the park it used to be a privately owned theme park. Another cool fact about silver springs park which used to be just Silver springs my parents spent their honeymoon here in 1957 there a lot of history, movies were made here. Pacifically some of…
More photographs from the historic Silver Springs State Park walked the boardwalk looking for the next opportunity then I spotted babies anhinga, sometimes called snakebird, darter, American darter, or water turkey. and who doesn’t like magnolia flowers they are big and beautiful then these Orange flowers I'm not sure what they are.
https://youtu.be/HNp7WD5y76A Manatees are one of my favorite things to see in photograph if possible yesterday I had them swimming right beneath me as I was on the bridge there was a kayaking guide talking to her customers and I heard her say that this was a mom and baby. One of the most important things in life is to get outdoors as much as possible and enjoy nature first hand taking that fresh air and the sweet smells of Wildflowers. #lovenature #wildlife #Nature
My Morning started out with the rays of the sun pouring through the clouds with a nice temperature of 62°F and the high of 80°F. Enjoy your Friday.
Just in case you didn’t know last Monday, Mr. T Was hit by a car but wasn't killed but he seemed to have his back right leg injured and he went down into his den that was the last I seen him good news I just seen him about 20 minutes ago I took a couple photographs he seemed to be doing well but I haven’t seen him walk yet. I was worried that he went inside his den and passed away from the injury that all I can say for now. I will keep you all updated as I know more.
Good Morning I don't want to go to work I rather be sitting here watching the sunrise or watching the bird heading to the feeding grounds after nights rest. Or just relaxing looking out over beautiful mountains and having a good cup of coffee. These are the things that get me up in the morning and head to work on a Saturday morning. What are your things that get you up?

https://youtu.be/npbPQt-aFbQ The Good thing about Sunday’s I can sleep in but I never do lol. I don’t have to be at work until 9:00 AM so I have to leave home at 8 o’clock instead of 6am which is good it gives me at little bit of extra time in the morning. This morning I headed over to my Moms to take out Bella her dog on my walk home I noticed the Beautiful (Mississippi Kite)was sitting up at the top of the oak tree looking out over her territory. I believe she’s building a…

When I arrived to work this Miss Piggy was sitting up on the wooden fence around the yard waste she look like the Queen of the South Forest transfer station. She is so sweet but her maintenance of keeping herself up clean has deteriorated as she’s gotten older she’s a constant slobber now with her teeth missing it’s not easy being a feral cat.
https://youtu.be/QTt0hLYouo4 photographs of the area Well last Night we booked our first adventure while I am in Alaska. we were going to take the RV and travel to McCarthy Alaska but decided just to take the car it’s a 5 1/2 hour drive And she could uses New tires so it be a lot cheaper just to take the car plus you can’t take your own vehicle to McCarthy you got a park about a mile or so away cross walk bridge over the river. I actually do not know what kind of flower this is or when I photographed it but it is pretty cool macro.
The typical things I see when I get out on the silver River in my kayak the first bird is a night heron you don’t see them that often I do like seeing snowy white egrets this one’s running across the water it looks like he’s chasing minnows then you have the nesting area you get these balls of fluffy white down feathered baby is a Anhinga sometimes called a snake bird or darter #Nature #Birds
Another flower I have no idea what it is photographed on my walk around the Gardens of Silver springs State park Ok I know with the Second and third photographed flower is but the first the last I have no idea anybody have any thoughts on these flowers I would appreciate it. Can you name all 4?

Then at another Location with all the wildflowers really in bloom. Good Morning have a blessed day or evening.
This is always a Treat to kayak down the Silver River and come upon The wild monkeys of the Silver river and see their cute babies thinking about the last time I seen them I was kayaking along and off to the left side of the river heard some noises coming from the Cypress trees. Within no time there were other kayakers pulling up to watch the rhesus monkeys in the trees for about an hour I observed them playing and feeding on the little berries from some of the trees One of…
I’m at my yearly skin Doctor Appointment and this is always the highlight of coming is their therapy dog Roxy she comes to every patient and greets them. First photograph is her coming over to say hi to me then back over to get her tummy rub.
Sitting on the four wheeler looking at Pioneer Peak this is where ice cold water runs from a little stream and a awesome place to just put your feet in the water and soak them I did quite a few times after having my surgery on my foot I would go here and enjoy the View and soak my foot for a half an hour or so what a difference it would make. #nature 60 days until my trip to Alaska. Good Night
One of my sunflower plants and I have some watermelon grow in there too amazing thing about the watermelon is I didn’t planet It I don’t know where it came from lol
This is Mrs. T enjoying some Loquats I pull from the tree unfortunately I haven’t seen Mr. T yet this morning or today I did pick a bunch for him and put them in his den. Then I had escort Mrs. T across the road this is what worries me seeing them crossing the road and a cars hit them like happen to Mr. T
Just seen Mr. T he is struggling but he was out of his Den on the other side of the road but he is dragging his two back legs they are moving like they should be I’m hope he gets his movement in his back legs like it used to be.
It’s Saturday that means it’s a special day to feature our loved Cats Happy #Caturday Here Fluffy chilling out after having a big breakfast 🥞 People keep on telling me he’s a Maine Coon cat because he’s so big. I was reading that they are one of the biggest domesticated cats in North America.
UPDATE : I seen Mr T at first I thought he had passed he was just laying there at the entrance of his den with his eyes closed scared me for a moment then he opened his eyes in a feeling of relief came over me. Mr. T loves bananas so I went over and got a banana at my lunchbox to see if he would eat it poor guy was hungry this is the first time I’ve seen him eat anything since he got hit.
