Just a thought what do you do to beat the crowds at the grocery store here in Ocala Florida our Walmart opens up at 6 AM so we head to Walmart just as it opens up that way we can get in and get out without the crowns and the lines waiting to check out.
Taken this morning with my iPhone 11, I enjoy seeing these guys show up almost every day at my workplace since I’ve been throwing corn, and for safety reasons, I got to wear a yellow shirt looking like the Color of corn they see my shirt they come running knowing that there’s a treat Coming their way. The Big Tom turkey strutting his stuff trying to get the females interested in him. https://youtube.com/shorts/wyvENxxn3no?feature=share

Good morning good afternoon, good evening to all my noisy friends. I’m always amazed how nature can adapt and still survive as I visit a park to capture a beautiful sunrise. After doing so, I noticed this female Boat-tailed Grackle missing one leg and still managing to get around. She was just hopping around looking for a small crabs among the rocks and doing quite well at it. #Birdoftheday #Nature #wildlife
I didn't think I had Many photographs of Pearl, which is Halftails Sister, and Fluffy‘s sister. She got a home But she was such a cool kitten kind of looks like a little bobcat. The same lady that took her as her pet a month or so ago came by asking if she could take Halftail with her he been my Sidekick for the last 3 1/2 years and to find out she got rid of four or five cats to be able to take Halftail with her. I Said No.
Catching a Great Blue Heron in action flying away to eat its breakfast away from other birds. Largest species of the heron family. Great Blue Heron will feed on fish, lizards, eels and snakes like this one in the photograph. #Birdoftheday #Wildlife #Birds
Over on space coast waiting for a spaceX rocket launch to blastoff in less than about at 4:49pm EST in photograph and I actually see the rocket just left the gray building in right at the water tower.
Well just made it home about 7:45 PM. The rocket launch was spectacular. The ground shook, then came sonic boom, then the sunset afterward was gorgeous anyway, so all in all, it was a good adventure. stopped on the intercoastal I believe that’s what it was to capture a sunset
I have only seen this bird just one time it’s A vermilion flycatcher Widespread; occurs from the southwest U.S. to Argentina. Found in many open woodlands and brushy areas, often seen perched on fence posts along roadsides. Feeds on insects. Information is from Merlin bird ID app. It’s Great App for identifying birds. #Birdoftheday #Wildlife #Birds
On my way back from Watching SpaceX rocket launch at Cape Canaveral, I stopped by Parish park on the Indian River in Titusville, Florida, to photograph the sunset, and I wasn’t disappointed. And I also share the link to the rocket launch from yesterday evening https://youtu.be/llND-9iTG_M I was trying to work two devices simultaneously and lost track of the rocket for a moment. Hopefully next time I’ll do better.
Fluffy watching over his domain he the junkyard cat With all those switch blades in his feet give him problems I’ll give you a treat. Lol. Almost time to head home.
Couple more sunset photographs from Parish park from Thursday evening after watching SpaceX launch a Falcon 9 rocket to put G5 Starlink satellites into orbit. if you’re ever in Titusville, Florida, and want to watch a rocket launch from Cape Canaveral, this is a good place in free do you manage it takeoff, especially at night
Cooper’s Hawk sitting in the cypress tree with it's garfish breakfast it’s always amazing that these birds that don’t swim in the water can catch fish like this of course garfish stay close to the surface and sometimes in big Schools making them easy pickings for birds of prey. #Birdoftheday #Wildlife #Birds
I’m always amazed at what people will throw away and not think nothing of it this guy brought in the dryer and as soon as he put it in the scrap metal box you could hear all the change that was in it. So I took the back off of the dryer and pulled out $20.13 By the way this dryer broke my last record of $16 and some odd cents.
I would have to say this is the Most unusual bird I have come across in the state of Florida our photography club was having a scavenger hunt it took us all the way around Lake Okeechobee and we had certain things we had to find and photograph them this wasn’t one Of the challenges but I would not have seen this bird if it wasn't for The Scavenger hunt. It always amazes me here in Florida precisely North Central Florida in the winter time it can be nice and pleasant and then you get a day when you wake up and it’s a frosty 24° and of course you gotta go to work and where I it wasn’t for a heater that I found that somebody threw away I’d have no heat in my office. Here is a few Photographs of the my frosty place I work at.
Every so often we see something that’s new to us there so many things in nature I was at work when I noticed this beautiful big Moth the interesting thing It looks like I has a face on its back I believe that’s to help protect them from birds. When I lived in South Miami one of my favorite places to walk around was Zoo Miami I spent a lot of time in the bird atrium a lot of the bird were not afraid and would try to Challenge you which was pretty funny. This Western crowned pigeon would actually come up to you and try to attack your feet with his red eyes I believe he had a little demon in him. lol.
This morning two of my cats were terribly traumatized. A customer that came in with his big dog inside his truck jumped out the window and chased Littlegray Lucky for her. She got away, and up the Tree she went but unfortunately, he turned his attention to Halftail and grabbed him by the neck and shook him just then; I grabbed the dog by the neck, and Halftail got away, but he’s been up in that tree for the last 4 hours. I'm hoping he is not injured, but I can’t tell until…
Miss Piggy she just showed up just a little bit ago first thing she did was come over and jump up on my lap. I believe she must’ve lost some teeth in the front cause she never before had her tongue sticking out but it’s out all the time now. lol.
It’s a cool morning 37°F or 2.8 C what’s making it even cooler is the 25 mile an hour wind photograph was taken coming through the forest on the way to work they’re saying tomorrow is going to be even colder with it back in the 20s winter is here in Florida having a big blizzard on East Coast of the United States right now of course we’re not getting any snow but that would be cool to see.
