We live in this world where we are being surrounded by many temptations to compromise our standards and doubt our faith. One of the things that helped me to stay focused and stay on the path of righteousness is from studying our manual the "come follow me" as a family and individual to share our thoughts and learnings together. This weeks topic talked about these four young men in the old testament Shadrach, Meshach, Abed-nego and Daniel. They have shown to me the example of being able to stand for the right despite of opposition. Since they were captive ("the house of Israel") by the Babylon. Most of the people around them are not believers of the God they worshipped. But that did not hinder them to do the right things even if it would cause them to lose their own Lives. They were true and faithful in serving their God. In return, the Lord did not abandon them in their trying moments. And made the unbelievers believe. In times of their trials they were strengthened. We just have to depend, trust and be faithful to God. Daniel 1;3; and 6
