We have to accept the fact that not all things can be reciprocated. There are people we love who can't love us back, those we support won't support us in return, and even those we help will not return the favor. Rooting for someone is a personal choice. If you still love them despite not receiving the same love, then it's fine as long as you're not sacrificing your own happiness and self worth. If you reached the point that you stop supporting those you care before, then it's fine as well. Again, not all people you root will cheer on you. Don't stress yourself for asking attention and love, maybe you keep on looking to someone's back who does not look behind to see you. Why not try to turn around? Who knows someone is also admiring you from the back silently waiting for you to look back.
